I've just done a qualifying bet for another bookies which should get me a 25.00 free bet, a 12.50 referral and a tenner (I think) from quidco. After that I can do 5 more 10.00 bets to get another free 25.00 bet :beer:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all
So, here it is, the last day of the holidays
I'm actually quite pleased its raining, I like rainy sundays, think they remind me of my childhood when my brother would be off out playing footie with my dad, mum would be doing housework and the houes would smell of roast dinner
Anyway, our plans for today are ...
- ironing (not much to do but wouldlike to stay on top of it for a change  )
- dust and hoover through (should't take long as is still tidy :j )
- pack my bag for school
- find ds thankyou notes for school friends
- send friend a birthday card
- ds scrapbook
- put 5 things on ebay
- clean bathroom and kitchen floors
- plan my challenge till the end of the year
- bath and early night for both of us
I've kind of given up on the ebay buyer   but will contact the next highest bidder at the end of the week if I don't hear from the first one

Happy last day of the holidays!!
I remember once when I was 10, I was desperate to get back to school - really enjoyed that last Sunday of the holidays.......then my appendix popped that evening and I was taken into hospital and had to have another 2 weeks off
Everyone kept saying how lucky I was to have an extra long summer holiday - but I was just bored and wanted to get back to school!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
My 2 are looking forward to going back to school at the end of the week - eldest said 5 weeks would be enough for her!
And I like rainy sundays too - it goes back to me being young too, how funny. I have more memories of staying in on Sundays, roast dinner cooking, myself and my sister just playing and parents reading the papers!
Mind you, I'm all on my own today - I hate it! But at least if the weather's rubbish I might get more done! Yesterday I felt I 'had' to spend time outside.
I must cheer up - last night I texted the ex 3 times asking him to get the girls to either text or ring me, just to know they're ok. Evenyually they did, a brief text - so I said a sarky thank you to him. He sent some big reply saying it was his time with them, I don't get themt o ring him (he only rings them twice a week, idiot). Just doesn't get that I might want to know they're ok!!!
Sorry, rant over - got it off my chest now, I won't think about him now, just winds me up!!!!
Time for a coffee and browse here before I get dressed.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Aw Milly, hope the time flies for you till the girls are back
I've been fairly productive so far this morning, ds has been hogging the computer so I've managed to clean the kitchen and bathroom floors, put the dishwasher and washing machine on, make up an underbed storage unit that I bought about a year agoand sort out my present cupboard, clearing a whole shelf
I've also cleaned the bathroom and the dining table :j :j
I did the Vernons offer on quidco and 20.00 has tracked already, which means that if the silly ebay buyer had paid I would have met my summer challenge target :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I've been sorting out my plans for my new challenge ... I want to get the mortgage down to 50K by the end of the year. This would mean I'd meet my mfit target 16 months early :j if I can do it.
So, I need to wipe 2,669 off the mortgage over the next 4 months. The normal mortgage payments will clear 460.00 of it, so I need to find another 2209. I have added up all the money I know I can put towards it (payments for quidco / mystery shopping / some wages etc) and this accounts for 1614 of it, meaning I need to find an extra 595 by the end of the year. This works out quite nicely at 5.00 a day, so I have signed up for the september challenge and will see how I get on. I'm hoping it won't be too bad as I can use matched betting profits and can always top up with aqa if I'm strugling, but I will need to be careful not to overspend at Christmas or it could all go pear-shaped
Just off to adjust my signature ready ....Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Serious level of organisation here! I know you can do it, benben, you're meticulous. And you really know how to use ebay to best advantage. I'll be watching for tips about that especially, I'm a complete newbie there! Best of British....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I think my ebay days may be coming to an end KC, their new fees are a joke, an example: with the fees as they are at the moment if you sell something for 99p you have to pay ebay 17p in listing fees and final value fees. Once the new fees come in September you will have to pay them 51p of that 99p    By the time paypal have taken their cut too its not worth the bother :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
