Have updated my signature, mortgage (as of wednesday) stands at £46,000 :j :j The new mortgage deal has knocked off a couple of years off my term, so now the new mortgage free date is June 2024, suddenly making my overall aim look not that mad :D:D

When I originally started on my mf quest, I wanted to aim to get rid of t by June 2019 which is when ds leaves school, I'm aiming now to get rid of it before he's finished junior school :D

My aim for this year is to get it down to £42k by 31st December, so the first line of my signature, which had got into a bit of a pickle, is starting again from now, so I've got £4k to clear in 7 months, although any money in June will still be going towards getting the accounts back where they should be, then I'll have 6 months to clear the £4k. This amount does include the capital part of the normal mortgage payments, which will now be about £180 each month, so thats nearly £1k of it accounted for already ;), meaning £3k over 6 months = approx £500 overpayments each month. In theory this should be okay, but theres 6 weeks summer hols to fill in there as well as xmas and ds birthday  but hey, bring it on, I can't wait to get stuck in :D:D

Evening, well my first day back didn't go quite as planned, my alarm clock didn't go off and I woke up at 7.59 and I usually leave at 8   Somehow I managed to get ready and leave at 8.15 and still made it to work on time, but then I had that horrible rushed feeling all day :o

I've done my mystery shop tonight (still need to submit it though) and have had a bath and hairwash, I need to get organised tonight as I hate that stressed feeling ;)
