Morning all :D The sun is shining here so I want to get my jobs done asap and get down the beach for a bit this afternoon. I have already submitted my electric reading for this month and it worked out at £24 for the month, so once this months dd goes I should be in credit again :D

The flat is still really tidy which is lovely to get up to, I just wish I could maintain it  Off now to do my tesco order online :D

I promised myself a lie in today but woke up early. Must be all the sunshine. It'd take all day to make my list-so I'm not making one :)
Have fun at the beach-I'm putting a washing load on then getting out in the sunshine-choices are Get more gardening done or go buy a Sunday paper and take said coffee and paper out in the garden and ignore the gardening !!

OKay, quite a lot of the paperwork stuff has been sorted, over half the pile went in the bin, about a 1/4 of it has been filed away and the rest is to be actioned stuff. I have phoned up about the old mobile bill, they said to cancel my dd so it doesnt go out and they'll get an amended bill out which will be about £6 instead of £29 :T

I also have cancelled the dd for my new phone insurance, I phoned them up too but they dont work sundays so have to call again tomorrow, but they've given me the direct number so I don't have to listen to 50 recorded messaged first ;):D

I also phoned up where we're going in half-term to pay for the entertainment passes, linen, etc, and they said because we've upgraded we get them all thrown in :j The upgrade only cost £20 for an extra 4 days, and the passes and linen would have cost me £29 anyway :p so I think somethings a bit odd there but hey ho :D I also asked about the wifi and she said they have it on site but most people cant get it, depends on your chalet :o I cant face a whole week without the laptop, so am hoping we're in a good position, I dont care about the sea view, I just want the internet :D:D

Finally got round to registering my shell card online too, am definitly starting to feel more in control of stuff again ;):D We're off to the beach now but when I get back I must must must sort out all the A&L stuff to do with the new mortgage / bank account etc, and check everythings ticking along nicely there ;)

I also need to sort out a new soa soon,to allow for sofa payments etc, in fact I may start my new diary at the beginning of June (usually do it around july/august time), when the new mortgage kicks in, as that will be like a mini-new-year-kinda-get-all-my-finances-straight-kindathing ;):D:D

That "being in control" feeling is the most important thing - when you have that, everything else sort of slots into place much easier. When you lose that feeling, it is like wading through jelly in the fog.....you might get where you want to eventually, but with a lot more effort and a lot less fun.

Since your just mainly concentrating on your mortgage now and general money saving/keeping costs down rather than debts....will you be moving over to the mortgage board?

I have even though I STILL haven't started OPing mortgage (CCard crept back in) and it's been inspiring me to OP more and more (although its all off the CCard at the mo).
