I've been quite productive this evening, luckily ds finally decided last night he wants to sleep in his own bed again :j , and last night and tonight has gone straight to sleep (long may it last
), so I have managed to find all the relevant paperwork for the mortgage application; bank staements by the tonne, csa letters, tax credit letters, payslips etc etc ... and its all ready to go, I do need to phone them to clarify a couple of bits they've got wrong in my details but its all minor stuff like my phone number. I'll photocopy several of the bits tomorrow at work as i have to send the originals, then I'll get it in the post tomorrow
I've also done my application via quidco for their bank account as thats a requirement of the mortgage, but quidco kindly would like to give me £50 for doing it
Its not bad actually, you dont have to have your salary paid in, you just need to put £500 a month into the account, so once my wages have gone into my normal account I'll just transfer across £500 then transfer use it to pay the mortgage or whatever
I also got a bit of housework done, nothing major but just made the place a bit neater and hoovered quickly and got ds stuff out for school tomorrow. 5 more days then its the holidays, can't waitMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

The new bank account has been approved and has tracked on quidco, so should hopefully pay out in time to be included in the £1k challenge
I've posted off all the mortgage documents and have arranged for the valuation person to come next monday morning, so hoefully that will all be fine then.
Ds has brought home a card to practice as he's been chosen to read in church tomorrow (didn't even know they were going), so he's very proud
Nothing much else to report so far today, four more days of kids till the holidays :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Sorry for not posting last night, I read ds a betime story (7.30) then fell asleep too
I woke up at 9.45pm, turned the lights off, got into bed and went straight off again
I did feel much more with it today but it meant I got nothing done last night.
Today has been a really easy day at work, only 2 more to go :j I have spent £6 on bread, milk etc today but shouldn't need to spend any more. Tonight I want to sort out the bank accounts and get straight for this monthMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Bank accounts are all checked, I finished March on minus £46, but at my first attempt at working it out I made it minus £200  so am quite pleased when I "found" some money:eek: I'd forgotten to add and it came in at a more respectable -£46
I knew it would be a minus figure this month, not sure what went wrong really, spent too much on food, we had the trip to monkeyworld and the gym membership. All accounted for this month though, now I just need to move money;) between the various accounts and everything will be fine. I will need to watch how April goes though as being at home for the next two weeks could seriously mess up the budget

minus £46 is not too bad in the grand scheme of things. And at least you can account for it, so you can build on that!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

One more sleep till the holidays :j :j I can't wait !! Today has been fine, but am in need of a rest now. Have spent £15 on petrol, £53 on ds swimming lessons for next term (£50 is paid by his nan so only cost me £3 really
), £12 in tescos, whilch included a dressing gown for ds (reduced to £3.50, a pair of those fleecy wellies for next winter for ds reduced to £2.50, 5 various bottles of suncream / aftersun all reduced, total = £2.62 .

I'm trying to decide what to do without mse this weekend ...
option one: blitz the flat to within an inch of its life including the garage
option two: do lots of ebay / aqa stuff and catch up w bit with housework / paperwork stuff
option three: go shopping / relax / do nothing!
I am going out on saturday night and could do with something to wear, and also need to get my brothers birthday present so I guess there will be some shopping involved in there somewhere, not sure which other areas to tackle :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
