Hiya,
Ah poor you and poor ds, must be so frustrating for you when he was such a star last week:o Bless him, wish I knew what to suggest...you do a fab job though so remember that;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

He was fine this evening till bedtime then he's been awful again, just like new years eve
He's been biting me, hitting / kicking me, screaming, running from room to room etc
It seems like we were getting somewhere then he goes away and is like this when he returns, it would be so much easier if he didnt have that upheaval every fortnight
but then I also know that not seeing his dad would mess him up too  Bloody men, utterly useless the lot of them, well most lol
PS. I can second that last statement;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

(((hugs))) BB, it can't be easy coping with behaviour like that on your own.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

If it helps at all we did a rapid return thing when our 3 year old was acting up at bedtime. No eye contact, no talking, just taking him back to bed straight away. I stayed outside his room and returned him back to bed 54 times the first night, 32 times on the second and by the third night he'd kinda given up.
Hard work at first but worthwhile.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
It must be the day for it.
The boys left their DS charger at my house yesterday so I met their mum at school this morning to return it. They were five minutes late after being delayed by traffic and hence as it was raining, all the children were already in their class when Harry got into the hall. He threw a tantrum like no other; screaming that he didn't want to go into school, he just wanted to go home. I've never seen him like it before. . The teaching assistant took him and advised us to just go and she'd sort it and apparently he was okay after ten or fifteen minutes but it was really upsetting for all of us. Poor kid, he's really good like his brother but he wouldn't even talk to me about it on the phone tonight....0 -

i know how you feel my step daughter goes with her dad every now and again she comes back like a different person and i hate it nasty and really cheeky0 -
Benben is there any routine when he goes to his dads do you know? From what you have said it seems like there is no point you speaking to his dad about it?
Would it be worth ringing the doctor and asking to speak to a health visitor and explaining his behaviour seems to be linked with the upheaval of seeing his dad and do they have any suggestions, groups, counselling etc that could help him?0 -
I already spokt to the doctor and we were referred to a paediatric specialist who saw him and has referred him on to a couple of other people; I've got 2 appointments near the end of Jan for him, the last one I'm still waiting to hear about and thats the one about his behaviour  Think I'll start chasing that one up again
My money has arrived back in my account today, so I have managed to get the other matched bet sorted, so hopefully later tonight I will know how much thats made me
Ds had a fairly good day at school today I think; he went to bed okay at about 7:45 but is still awake, but is quiet; he's been reading a book in bed and I don't mind that, at least its calm and under controlMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Benben, would it be worthwhile keeping a diary of his moods and the day to day background of where he's been, who he's been with etc. It could help as evidence for the other appointmentsIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
