I reckon the flat is about 80% done now but I've hit a stage where I can't be bothered to do any more
I have cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, loaded / unloaded the dishwasher, done 3 loads of washing, hoovered through, cleared the table, generally made all rooms presentable. Ds room still needs more work but other than that its pretty okay now.
I have also ordered the clubcard vouchers ready to book Butlins for 3 days in half-term as a treat for ds or being good this weekI also ordered one of those 1.00 dvds from the nestle cereal box, I chose Evan Almighty as I love that film
Think I might do a bit of AQA'ing and have a bath. I'm going to the cinema too.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

My house is about 0.8% done, and I have reached the "can't be bothered" stage too........:oSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

what did you think of butlins in minehead ben ben i am thinking of booking later in the year but the reviews say the standard and standard plus accommodation is appalling2010 - Goals

I guess it depends on your expectations Ladypink, I know before I went i was really confused too as reviews seemed to vary wildly  My experience was that the accomodation (we had silver) was adequate; it was the kind of thing I'd expect on a school trip, very basic and functional; not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination but it was okay as somewhere to rest your head. It was clean, it certainly wasn't spacious but we didn't spend huge amounts of time in it. The food was like school dinners but was nice not to have to cook and there was a big selection so I didnt have to worry about finding something ds would eat
The actual Butlins bit was very dated, very tacky, everything you'd expect really, totally naff and a typical 1970's British holiday place  However, the swimming pool was great, ds loved it there and still talks about it regularly, hence why we're going again, albeit to a nearer one this time
I must admit I would not pay proper money for it though, I only go cos I can use my clubcard deals there, without them I think its ridiculously overpriced.

Long time lurker here - Ladram Bay is a lovely site. As your little boy is into trains, it may be worth venturing along the coast to Seaton where there is a tram line - they go up to Colyton and back again.0

Thankyou Dangers, and welcome
I have spent the last hour googling the area and I am soooo excited :j :j We will visit the model village in Babbacombe at some point, and also the Peco model railway in Beer, Seaton ... I keep finding loads of things to do and have to keep remembering its only 3 days
I am so much more excited than I was about Butlins, I might not book Butlind for Feb after all, and may keep the vouchers to use for days out instead
I can't wait for ds to come home later today so I can show him where were goingIt has wifi too, so I can take the laptop with me
