Well, I switched the tv off at 5:30 just so ds didn't get overstimulated before bedtime (and I had to miss the footie :rolleyes: ), he had a bath at 6:45 then did the whole bedtime routine, and finally when I came out of his room I told him that tomorrow we will go to the station and watch 10 trains, but everytime he comes out of his room /I have to tell him to go to sleepwe will lose 1 train .... I went back 5 minutes later and he was fast asleep :j :j :j Its the best bit of my Christmas !!!!! I'm SUCH a happy Benbenandme!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thankyou KM and thankyou for your support, it really is appreciated I switched the tv back on and found a take that concert on some music channel so have just done half an hours ironing while it was on Theres only about 8 bits left in the pile but I've had enough of doing it tonight now;) Think I might get into bed and do some aqa'ing

Morning all Last day of the holidays for me today Todays plan includes:

• clean guinea pigs
• go to watch the trains
• write ds thankyou letters
• mystery shop

Thats about it hopefully

Mystery shop is done and submitted, so that will be about a tenner on its way later this month I need to be looking out for some more though. We went to watch the trains but after an hour and a half we'd still only counted 7 :eek: Ds decided he'd be happy to watch the rest on youtube So we're back home in the warm and not planning on going out again till tomorrow

Ds has had his bath and got his pj's on, I'm just psyching myself up in case its a bad night again tonight I had my bath / washed my hair before he had his, just in case its a bad night and I don't get time later
Hoping it goes as well as last night, then I'll have some time for aqa'ing tonight and generally getting ready to go back to work tomorrow

Ds went to bed about 7:45 and I let him play with a toy in bed till 8pm. He then tried to go to sleep but at half past asked if he could play a bit more as he wasn't sleepy. I ahreed to let him have 10 more minutes He was calm though and stayed in his bed,not like N.Y's eve, I went in at 8:45 and told him to lie down and when I checked again at 9 he was asleep

Its still later than I'd like but feels like progress as it was under control and he was calm and listened
