We've been down the beach with ds new scooter, it was freezing :eek: :eek: We saw a friend and her family in the cafe as we walked past,so went in and said hi, they spent 13.00 on drinks / teacakes for the 4 of them and asked if we were going to join them; I politely declined and bought some teacakes at somerfield on the way home for 1.20

I'm going to have another crack at this housework lark now and also get teaand give ds a bath, then once he's in bed I'm going to do some more aqa'ing to start paying for my Next order

I seem to have done more housework than I've done for months, yet its still nowhere near looking done I need to get rid of the tree and decs so that I can get everywhere else straight. I have filled 4 binbags of rubbish, so I must be making progress, but it feels like just the tip of the iceberg still, and I don't want to spend the whole week plodding through housework

I'm bribing the kids to do some cleaning. If they tidy/clean somewhere, they get after eights

Cant wait to get rid of the tree, and get back to normal.

Not really Tigz, it just means some offers may take you longer to complete thats all

I've decided to have a really early night tonight, I feel exhausted tonight, I didn't sleep well last night and the 2 nights before that I was in ds bed when my friend was here and thats really uncomfortable so I need a decent sleep then hopefully tomorrow I'll be a bit more productive

I must go to the tip tomorrow, I have sooo much rubbish to get rid of, and we have a communal bin for 5 flats and its already massively overflowing as there was no collection because of xmas :rolleyes: The tree may be on its way out tomorrow too as i can't get straight till its gone

Morning I had a phonecall this morning to say an aunt is coming over this afternoon and she hasn't seen my flat before, so now I really do have to get it tidy :rolleyes:

10p on the scratchcard today, nothing much else to report so far ...

Hi BB!

I love that you're tidying away already - I didn't put the tree up this year, didn't feel like it, but I am going to have the lights up, draped over a bookcase, for when a friend comes down from London.

I'm also going to catch up properly today - didn't get back yesterday till 5pm, and needed to flake out a bit, so today its all systems go.

The tree and decs will stay up till the visits over, then they'll be going Everything else will get put away in cupboards etc,but the cupboard tidying/sorting will have to wait for another day :rolleyes:

I want to take my tree and decorations down today but girls want me to wait til New Yr's done...not that we're here then, we're going to my sister's. So will be home NYday to tear them all down;)
Lazy me again, in my bed, no coffee yet though! Girls still asleep, we're going to town later so G can spend her Xmas money and have the Tesco shopping coming after that.
