My girls with their dad now, so quiet here - bit strange after having them with me so much recently. So I just came to bed at 10 with the laptop and will enjoy the lie in tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to the New Year and getting finances organised etc....;) I go to sleep each night going ove my goals, targets etc for 2009 hahahaha!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
hi Benben, Tigz and Milly glad you all had great xmas's well done on the sale shopping as well. Haven't got into the swing of that here yet. Alot of stores usually only do a Boxing Day sale (ie 1 day!), but this year surprise they are all extended so will have a look another time. I just enjoyed slobbing around on boxing day.....
Good luck with your plans for 2009. I think it will be interested to see how the UK economy goes next year. Sadly I think we will see a lot of new members on here....
happy new year

I think we have already seen far more newbies, chev, than in other years and the thing that is most noticeable to me is that people are coming here with several payday loans on the go - I am sure that when I first signed up, it was incredibly rare on here to read about payday loans but now it seems that far more have got into that trap which is even more difficult to get out of than high APR credit cards etc.
Thank goodness we found this site when we did, otherwise I fear we may have been joining them!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Fab bargains! I haven't ventured to the shops. I have a New look gift card that my friend gave me so I'll pop there soon.
Hey BB~ I have a present box now!! It already has a few things in there.
I'm def going to plan to do more hampers for gifts, my Mum was so pleased with hers.
Hypno ~ I used to do those payday loans many moons ago and I'd never ever do them again, it's a spiral that is so hard to get out of.
Hi Chev... happy new year to you too xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
