Evening all Ds had an awful day at school again today I get soooo stressed about it too which doesn't help, I need a massage or something to calm me down

Today has been a no spend day, well I did get ds shepherd outfit for the xmas play which was 9.00 in Sainsburys but I paid with nectar points

Have had a stressful hour with ds trying to settle him in bed, (luckily he's now asleep), I have opened my terramundi. It wasn't full but I did take part in the sealed jar challenge last year and it was due to be opened on 1st Deceber. I was going to keep going until it was full, but decided the money would be better in the mortgage pot, knocking off interest, so have opened it and counted it. I have got 150.09 :j :j I'm really pleased with this as it has been all 2 pound coins (and a few odd pennies ds as dropped in ). I am of to chuck it in the mortgage calculator and then glue the terramundi lid back on ready for the new challenge

Sorry to hear you have had a tough day with DS, BB. Have you tried Bachs Rescue Remedy? I found it very good at helping me calm down in stressful situations. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you both.

BB. how do you open the terramundi so you can re-use it? I have one that's been going for years - only started chucking £1s and £2s in it in the last few months, so quite looking forward to opening it! I would like to start the new sealed pot challenge too.;)

Milly I pur a screwdriver in the hole and the lid just kind of lifted off in one piece (a bit like when you open a tin and then put a knife under the lid to lift it up). It came off cleanly so I can glue it back again saving me about 17.00 for a new one

Fantastic _ I will try it tomorrow. how exciting, I have no idea how much is in it! (Loads of the coins in it were added by the ex;) hahaha, I deserve them all!)
