Morning all!

Today is another olympics day - debtbusting is left to OH today who is working another shift in his second job later on.

I will mooch, potter, drink coffee and aim for a NSD.....that will have to do

I am trying (though it is early) to formulate a plan for my week off:

We have done a lot of decluttering, but the house is still a mess......so I think one room a day over the next week.....absolute deep clean and tidy. It should be much easier than usual because the cupboards/drawers have largely been cleared out in the declutter.

After my week off, we have one more week before the new student arrives, so it HAS to be spotless by then.......:o

I will start off today, when OH is at work this afternoon by doing the kitchen and utility - these are not too bad having been severely decluttered the other week......so hopefully won't take me too long to do!

Tomorrow will be the dining room - again not a big job in one way because of the marathon dining room session I did before.....but it has several bags of charity shop stuff to be taken and it is also housing the ironing...........I could do the ironing when I am watching the olympics tomorrow morning, and I can put the charity shop stuff in the car and take it on Tuesday when I do my mystery shopping.....:D

i think you should really just pop on up and do mine next i cant seem to get the energy or interest to do mine at all ...been watching the olympics myself on the night shift so much more interesting that bb what ever one were on ...

No, El, Hypno should come down here first and do mine. I've been watching a bit of the Olympics - saw the end of the women's marathon (how apt!) but then scooted over to the laptop to watch online a Miami-based thing that my beloved Michael Shanks was in (the director described the role as being "like Michael would be if Michael had rabies). So I've had a *lot* of fun this mornng already, but am behind already too.

Actually, Hypno probably deserves to clean her own house first :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have got as far as writing a list of things to do in my Filofax.........laying down my intentions formally as it were! And I have folded a load of washing that was tumble dried overnight.......

And I have made another coffee

coffee the thing i am trying to get out of my system ...i had one at 4 am today no good for trying to get to sleep when you get in ...

ok karma hows this for a plan ...we let hypno clean hers with our help then we pop over to yours and get that one done then up to mine ..leave the worst till last ...or maybe your better doing the worst first that way atleast you know its going to end ...

Okay, El, thats a deal. Hypno, we're gonna jump down the phone lines to give you a hand, then mine, then El's. And I *will* join you actually - you're doing the kitchen and utility today, right? I just have a kitchen, and cos there's just me, I let it get into a right state. But I have a couple of people coming round next week who will *see* it, so I'm going to get my act together a little bit.

3.... 2...... 1.... okay, starting blocks, lets all get to our kitchens. After that cuppa coffee.

OK, round robin cleaning it is, but remember I am watching the olympics so can't possibly do anything that involves moving from the sofa (hence not doing my kitchen until this afternoon when OH is at work).
