On the *really* important subject of jaffa cakes, I bought the Sainsbury basic range yesterday - and you know, they were good - they were like I remembered them! OTOH, being a Stargate TV fan has ruined me as a jaffa cake fan - I keep calling them Jaffar, with the accent on the 2nd syllable, I'm not kidding!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hypno, re Centre Parcs again, have you looked on the Discounts Board to see if there are any codes? Just noticed someone asking for one on there so it might be worth keeping an eye out.
Also there was someone conforming they had used Tesco Vouchers at the Cafe Rouge at Centre Parcs so that kind of confirms it but like you say you'll do your research to be sure too.

Thanks KM - what I did notice while looking for discount codes is that by booking for the French centerparcs through French Life......you can use tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for the holiday itself :j
I have ordered a brochure and will look to see what works out cheaper all inSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Oh might be worth getting your food order booked then coz I've just seen someone has posted a code for 1000 points for a £50 food shop. It wasn't on the usual thread, I think I saw it on the Quick Grabbit Board a poster started a thread for it.0

Found it! But I couldn't get into Mr T's site......will have to try again later. The code is apparently valid until October but may be for new customers......I will give it a go though - nothing to lose, and maybe Mr Hypno would like to become a customer.......and through quidco too
Thank you for the heads up :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Right, a successful day of not doing much - watched the olympics......what a fab day of medals :T Drank lots of coffee, some of it with P........didn't move much from the sofa........earned a bit of money seeing a client, spent 68p on a packet of custard creams.......and now watching x factor with the children.
Hope you have all had a good day!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I'd blame Strumpet for making custard creams break your run of NSD's
On the other hand I've just done an on-line shop for Mr T's using the on-line codes from the other board, gone through Quidco too. And I added my Sunday paper so I shall have a NSD tomorrow
None of the offers showed at checkout, (that's normal?)so I'm going to work them out now, as I chose loads... Will I get DTD if they make a mistake?

Yes, Strumpet's fault.......I was forced into buying them.....and then guilt made me eat them.......:D
Successful Tesco codes normally show up at the checkout.......if they don't work, they usually tell you they are unsuccessful so you know to go and find another one.
Perhaps it might be worth asking on the "tesco codes discussion" thread...there is nothing those guys don't know about Mr Ts!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Olive do you mean the BOGOFs etc didn't show? They never do, you are charged for them then they are taken off when the shop is packed and billed at the store and the discounts will show when you get your receipt with your order.
