  • Hi Hypno and all, very interesting reading re the number crunching and squares chatter. Another example of how driven you are to repay your debt and also how much you inspire people so well done, its so interesting.

Have you divided the debt you have paid off so far this year by the number of days so far this year to see how on/off/near target you have been to your £85 per day (was it £85 you need to pay I've forgotten now and can't go back while posting?). Just thought it might be interesting to see?

I got my youngest moggie "done" for nothing at our usual vet earlier this year.
CPL locally have some kind of a fund I just rang and asked for it and they gave me a choice of vets. Didn't ask any income questions strangely enough.

You could also try the cats protection league, they sometimes help out. Got my boy done a few weeks ago.

  • First time post and I think it's apt to put it here! Seriously! Amazing how you've turned your debt around like that! If I had a fraction of the drive you had I would be debt free and OWNING a house by now!

I will be reading with earnest as to how it goes!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Welcome to my mad world of debt busting! I am truly honoured that you have made your first post on my diary!

I have just got in after doing the karate thing after work.....bloomin shattered now! DS is cooking me sausage and egg, bless him. OH is working in his second job, and managed to pick up another 3 shifts for next month, so that is good.

KM, I have not done the average debt cleared per day yet, but I will do so. I am a bit nervous though that if I am way off, I will be less motivated to keep to that expected figure! I will report back once I have found the calculator!

OK, from the start of the "pay off £20k by Xmas" challenge which is when I re-did my amount owing, I have paid off an average of £52.80 a day.

This is someway short of where I need to be, but also includes the period of time when we spent a phenomenal amount on the children's ski season.

If I add in the cost of the children's ski season, the average is £94.47 a day.........

**nips off to sell the kids skis before they notice**
