    Aww!! how sweet are they?!

They look just like how my cat Daisy looked when she was a kitten, and she's 16 now so I hope they have the same health as her! I'm just sat here now telling myself I don't need a kitten.

    HI
I find that my kittens when I am weaning them love poached white fish with kitten milk. Poach it in the microwave and add some dried kitten milk powder to it. They do much prefer the pate type kitten food. If they haven't done a poo yet you may have to help - not v nice, but rub there bottoms with a bit of damp toilet paper to simulate mum's tongue! Well done you for rescuing them. Their eyes are only just turning they are quite young little naughty torties. I feed my kittens on Royal Canin and Hills kitten as soon as they will take dried or more chunky food.

Oh wow, they look adorable  and thankfully don't appear to be as young as I'd initialy feared. I'd say they were currently 6-8 wks old so should be well on their way to eating solid food now. keep up the good work, you're doing a fantastic job :T

But, and I don't want to sound as though I'm nagging here, it would be a good idea to get them down to the vet for a proper checkup and to get them wormed and possibly de-flead, assuming they have fleas of course, but worming is important and discuss having their vaccinations too if you can afford it.

    Hi mancbird,

As your thread has fallen down the Old Style board I've moved it across to the Pets and Pet Care board to see if you can get some more replies.

Don't worry, we're taking a little trip to the vet on wednesday and they'll be getting the first of their vaccinations done - £50 each for the full set - ouch!!! I'll be asking the vet about worming and fleas whilst we're there. Luckily they don't seem to have fleas :)

Oh, they've started pooing now too! I told my mam as I was so excited but I don't think she was that impressed as she started making comments about babies pooing, not kittens. I think she's getting broody... ;)

I tell you what, these li'll kitties have fallen on their feet having you as mum :A

I'm so glad your mum rescued them, even if she doesn't appreciate the finer points of kittens pooing :rotfl:

I do hope you'll keep us updated on their progress, and of course we expect regular pics ;)

I'm getting broody just looking at them but my two would be absolutely mortified if I brought a kitten home
