Ooo I think I will have to get one of these. My two little scamps think its funny to sit in their tray and kick the litter while looking at my OH to see if he's watching lol

So was one of mine, to the extent she hid behind a box when we went to choose her and her sister from the sanctury, it wasn't long before we realised she wasn't hiding, she was trying to get in the box which was full of cat biscuit, 11 years later and she's a little psycho that eats anyone that doesn't move fast enough.

Shy doesn't mean shy, it means plotting world domination:rotfl:

Yes! Someone else who agrees on this!

Our little kitten Jess was the runt and the shyest one. Mum felt sorry for her and so we picked her.

Now shes in charge of the house. That means being in charge of two fully grown springer spaniels who are about 7 times her size! They are scared of her!! Its damn funny to watch though, hehee

Me and my partner recued a kitten off our farm because its eyes are really bad (pretty sure it cat flu), and its mother isn't looking after it - they're all twice the size of him, because the mother doesn't call him over to the food like other mothers. We've had him in the house since 6pm last night, and he's constantly cried, all through the night. We did expect it to cry a bit, this is out 3rd rescue kitten, but the other 2 were quiet after about an hour, yet he's still crying, and not sure what we could do to settle him - any tips, or advice?
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!

Yeah, done as per norm, bathe eyes every 2 hours, and he's been cuddled up next to me nearly nonstop since 1am, but I don't understand why he could still be crying, never met a cat so vocal.. especially so young :( Scared he might be in a bit of pain from not eating properly, his tum feels a little bloated, we've staved off giving him milk as a lot of kittens can be intolerant to it :/

If his tummy is bloated then perhaps he needs worming ?

    Just a suggestion.

Hope you manage to get him settled down and fit + healthy , good luck ;)

How old is he? Is he going to the toilet properly? If he were mine and I suspected cat flu and possible bowel problems, I'd take him straight to the vet.
