Bizarrely my local BP garage is usually the same price or even 1p cheaper than my local Tesco garage

come on tesco you still carnt beat morrisons.
the best place for petrol near me is in swadlincote on midland road. normally cheaper than anyone else and guess what my famly who lives in the town says their cars run better on it and get a good 50 miles out of a tank than sainsburys.
i once borrowed me sisters car when my head gasket went it ran better on the fuel from the swad garage then when i tried it with tesco. i did less milage and it cost more.:rotfl: given up on tesco do a lot os boots offers. but weekends are now in orange trackside b. lol

I wish we could get petrol for the kind of prices that folk are quoting on here - it's currently £1.26 a litre in Stornoway! It's come down 2p a litre in the last couple of weeks.
