That simply will never ever happen again, the thing with fuel prices is most of the fuel companies will agree they set prices to what the market can stand - the market has proved it'll stand diesel prices over £1.20 a litre & petrol over £1.10 a litre.
BP garages round here are still £1.30p+ a litre whilst the supermarkets are £124.9, the BP forecourts are still full. That tells you something about peoples mentality to buying fuel.0 -
I agree americanv8 i go past a bp garage and i'm amazed how many stupid people are in there filling up when theres a sainsburys petrol station 500 yards away at 5 or 6p a litre cheaper.0

I doubt they are that stupid but a lot of them will be company car drivers to whom it doesn't matter to like my OH. If they havea fuel card they'd rather just get it and go then queue for the cheapest petrol/diesel!0 -

Pitty my car doesnt like Morrisons Fuel !!
BP Fuel lasts longer as its better quality, the reason the supermarkets can drop the prices so much is because they buy whats left at the bottom of the barrel becasue its cheaper and it isnt as good as the what BP use.0
