Martin - since you have appeared on GMTV, one more person has taken notice of what you are saying and trying to take control of finances more. If you felt you were awful this morning, then think how good you are when you are on form !!!

Thanks to you I caught the last capped deal with British Gas today until end Dec 2009, which I am very pleased about. Thanks for shouting cap cap cap, and keep at it, you are making such a difference out here.:j :T

I missed you on GMTV sorry, shame as I would have liked to see that.
I am so stressing over my electric, my last quarter bill was 161.00. I am with british gas and have one of those meter reading things and it shows how much electric I am using. It currently says 0.722 and the computer is on, fridges and freezers and 1 light, kids have lamps on, my average reading during the day when only the fridge and freezers are on is about 0.5?? or 0.6??. Over night it is 0.6??. I wsn't happy with paying 22p for the first 123 kw so looked into Southern Electric, which is dearer at 1464 p for the first 364 units. Have switched over to E-on tonight online with 15 pound cash back but their prices are 20.10 for the first 225. But it is capped till Oct 09. (rec by Martyn)
I am so confused can some one help me PLEASE.......

I never saw the show, but if anything, if it was confusing then it probably just promted more people to come on here to find out what all the fuss is about. And once they're here....they'll get hooked like the rest of us.

You really don't get much time to explain things, especially the more complex things like energy tarrif capping (which I have done btw, thanks very much!)

I think you were great trying to explain a complex issue. Ours is capped thanks to you, and we are busy directing everyone we meet to the site; so huge personal thank you - I dread to think where we would be without the site.

I remember your email and though they don't ever take any notice, I said that your advice was everyone should cap now. My mam said she'd seen you talking about it, and you'd certainly got your message across to her...
