Kaupthing Edge Log-in problems today

I'd be pretty wary of Kaupthing Edge. I recently opened an account using address KaupthingEdge and got a reply through snail mail asking me to verify using Kaupthing-Edge which raises a firewall warning that it's security cert was issued to a different website. The letter also stated that they would only ever ask for 3 letters from my memorable word yet the screen asks for three letters from the password and the FULL memorable word. Using their CONTACT US feature, I have asked if they have either a security problem or incompetent web designers. Despite promise of response within 24 hours, there has been no response. All very dodgy. Take care investors.0

Thanks everyone. Sorry! I had a mental blip re paying in from my current account. I will pay my first £100 in and then see what happens.
But log in procedure is still taking me round in loops. (without ever logging me out)I will phone them today and hopefully get it sorted.0 -

Those that opened an account after end of May are required to use the ID given in their welcome email, those that opened one before that date use their email address to log in.
If you use the ID as provided you will be asked for your password and 3 letters from your memorable word.
If you use an email address, as those with older accounts are required to do, you will be asked for your memorable word and three characters from your password.
The website address is kaupthingedge.co.uk the certificate is issued to kaupthingedge.com.
I don't see any security issues just users failing to understand the information given to them.
Here are screen shots of the two log in methods

I have to agree with Nigel.
I have only had one problem and that was a slightly slow login. The other problem was of my own making when I couldn't count the characters correctly and entered the wrong information.0 -

Why don't you pay in £1 and pay out £1 to make sure everything is ok?But log in procedure is still taking me round in loops. (without ever logging me out)
What is happening exactly?0 -
KE admitted to me last week that those using the newer log-in system can encounter difficulties with log-in acceptance sometimes as low as 40%. They are apparently worrking on a fix for this.
Most problems seem to be encountered at the memorable word phase of the security details where correct details are entered but the system doesn't recognise them as correct and it can sometimes take up to 10 attempts to login.
Another problem is when asking for character 1, it apparently must be entered with caps log ON regardless of how you set it up. I'm not actually sure they inform you of this in the sign-up/paperwork process as I can't find it/remember.
As for moving funds, I've had no problems whatsoever and that includes accepting transfers in from non-linked accounts.0 -

Although I'm on the newer system and have never encountered any log in problems (Apart from the first character needing to be capitalised)

Those of us on the "old" system are to be transferred over to the "new" system later on in the year (according to a message I received from them the other day when I queried the fact that some accounts appear to have different facilities available).0
