No NSD for me today unfortunately but hopefully tomorrow will be one. On the plus side, I bought a pack of two bras today for 99p, brand new and originally from NEXT so although it wasn't budgeted for, I think it's 'good spending' :D (especially seeing as I haven't bought any for more than 2 years). Hope everyone is having a great weekend! x

  • Well, I had another NSD yesterday, but unfortunately it was because I was feeling too pants to go out! Came home and ate food from the freezer to use it up before we move next weekend so worked out kinda well. Got friends coming over tonight for a takeaway and cards, so its a restrained spend day today! We'll see what we can do for Sunday, hopefully NSD to make up for tonight!

Good luck everyone for the weekend!

PS. I don't count DDs and bills as spending but do count any groceries and topping up my oyster card as spends as well as the silly little incidentals that need to be cut out!

Boo! Yesterday wasn't a nsd for me, had to put fuel in my car to go to my boyfriends work, but today will be, not going out of the house anymore :)

I don't count my direct debits as a spending day, since they come out anyway no matter what, and I don't count my self employed spending since that's my business bank acc and I have to pay stuff out nearly every day.

Well we managed to get into Warwick castle (using free vouchers found through this site saving wait for it..... £60!) j:j ust on our 4 tickets never mind the grandparents.... We were cheeky and used free adult ticket vouchers on kids too and got away with it. We were then able to buy some drinks £4.40, a go on the archery for DS £3 and £5!!!! on parking. So relatively cheap day out as it included Trebuchet, birds of prey, jousting etc. Fab day out we wouldn't have had but for this site!:T We took a packed lunch paid for by GPs and had icecreams also funded by GPs....

So not a no-spend day but great value. Thanks to those who posted the link originally!

  • Fell of the wagon for a few days local chemist is having a closing sale so spend £20 two days in a row but saved a fortune on things I would have to buy later anyway, then yesterday after reading the oldstyle board went out and bought loads of 'stardrops' for cleaning should save a fortune as they only cost 75p ( bought 7 bottles ) and the stuff is amazing. But anywho back to it today, PJ/cleaning day on Sunday so won't be out of the house = NSD, no spends planned for Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday is bootsaleday if the weathers good, Thursday should be a no spend and Friday is payday so might treat myself to a chipie. On the upside I've got 17 items ending on Ebay tonight so should have £100+ in paypal and have loads for a bootsale selling day if the weather ever clears up !!....(off she goes to the cleaning cupboard to start some housework...see you guys soon)

Hello peeps, I'm back from a lovely week in Devon, we managed 2 days on the beach at Hope Cove and I've spent A LOT during this time.

Am aiming for my 5th (and last one of my month's target) NSD today - but the more I think about it, the more I want to get 8 rather than 5, as I'm in the mood for a challenge.....

I also need to join one of the weightloss challenges as well :(

Love to all - haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread, but well done to those who've achieved their goals this month and keep going, you can do it, to the people like me who need a boost :) xxxx
