You buy and sell quite a lot of buggies.
Anyway I think you have to comply with the DSR and from what I have read the buyer seems ok. So you will need to come to some sort of aggreement with them. Why not offer £20 partial refund? Its going to cost you that anyway once they return it to you.
yes i do buy and sell quite alot of buggys and have had alot if happy buyers as i always try to list honestly and if there is a problem with one its reflected in the price
mabey a partial refund is the way to go then

If you're selling a damaged item, you really need to photograph all of the damage so the buyer knows what they're getting.
I'm not surprised the buyer was annoyed if the damage was more extensive than photographed.
Your listing also reads as though all of the damage had been repaired, which was not the case.
It's up to you really what to do. I would probably have her return it and then refund her. Then I'd try and do a more thorough repair job and try relisting it (with photographs showing all of the damage).
If you don't want the hassle, you could just give her a partial refund. £25 seems a bit steep though, considering she only paid £40 for the whole thing.0 -
If it was me, I would demand a full refund as - item is not as described.Quidco £196 - Voucher Codes £408 - GC Saved £603P.A.D. £[strike]4720[/strike] / £4330- Jan GC £375/Spent £283.78~~~~~~~~~~~0

i agree with what you are saying but all of the damage was repaired i stiched up the damage undernaeth the pocket too
mabey i will just get her to return then refund
the reason i did not photograph underneath the flap on the pocket is that you dont see it as its covered by the flap but thought i was being honest in listing that the damage goes underneath the flap

I'm not suggesting you were being dishonest. This is just the problem of selling damaged goods on eBay.
One person's "few light scratches" is another's "totally scuffed up".0 -

offer a partial refund, tell the buyer you already gave him a big discount on the "best Offer" and offer him anything you think may be reasonable (£10??)0
