hi i sold a maclaren twin traveller pushchair on ebay
£60 or best offer accepted best offer of £40
offered so cheap as i stated in the listing with picture
Please note there was a tare in the left pocket (see pic 3) with my bad sowing and choice of coloured cotton i have mended this the tare goes underneath the pocket i have stiched it all and the pocket is still useable and as you can see from the picture it dose not look all that bad, there are no aprons, head huggers or rain cover included but come up regularly on ebay, overall the pushchair is in good used condition with plenty of life left in all round,
these are about £180 new buyer knew of the issue then i rushed delivery to them and today i receive this message
"i'm not happy with this. the tears in the inside are awful. you only stated that the tears were on pocket and had been repaired. i was fine with that,. but inside one of the hoods like its been through a shredder. when i lie that seat back it will be visible. and its horrific"
so i send this messge back
"hi there i am sorry you feel that way but if you would like to read through the listing again it clearly stated that it goes under the hood and quoted the above from the listing
if you are really not happy please return and i will refund minus postage
or how do you feel we can resolve this issue,
sorry but it was clearly stated in the listing"
i have now received
no, you misled me into thinking the only damage was the mended area. the damage is actual inside the hood. you make no mention of this unrepaired area.
i want £25 refund to purchase new hood or i want a full refund and i'll return item
i am not going to refund before i receive the item back but where do i stand as i described this honestly in my opinion if i am wrong please put me right
many thanks

the tare goes underneath the pocket
You didn't mention the hood in the part you have pasted here.
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Without seeing pictures I would have assumed that the repair had made good 'all and any' damage, so would not have expected there to be further repair work needed.
The buyer will need to return the pushchair to you before the refund is given though and you should really refund the return postage if you feel that with hindsight the buyer has a point.
Incidentally, just to be picky and without it making any difference to this case you might want to spell check your listings as improving the overall spelling makes a listing look more professional. We do all make mistakes, I'm terrible at typing letters in the wrong order, but on listings a quick read through and spell check is always a good idea.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I wouldn't have known that... would your buyer? My TV is broken!

You buy and sell quite a lot of buggies.
Anyway I think you have to comply with the DSR and from what I have read the buyer seems ok. So you will need to come to some sort of aggreement with them. Why not offer £20 partial refund? Its going to cost you that anyway once they return it to you.0 -
if the buyer saw the picture then they should have known it would be visible, it looks very visible to me
wins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:0 -

I think the buyer is complaining that the repaired tear goes inside the hood (not visible from the picture but is visible from the inside) but isn't repaired on the inside.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
