We need some HELP!!!!!
Does anyone have any advise on working with pubs/hotels?
what would be the proposal to put to them?
any letter to send to pubs? etc etc etc
We have an appointment to see a hotel re. a fundraiser, but dont have a clue what to say once we get there?
Please help x x x
I have a letter RE fundraisers that my AM sent me...not sure how much help it is but i'll send it to you (I have your email).
Basically i've been told offer 10% of what you make to the charity, if the orders are over a set amount you could increase to say...15%. You wont mind giving it away as you get to keep any free shopping as there is no host. It is also possible to do a raffle...use the facial and make over as the prize or make some up from supply. Either that or do it as a pamper event and charge people £5 for the make over and facial...its up to you whether you donate this money. As it is a fundraiser it is also possible to charge entry which agin goes to the charity. Its worth doing a couple of options and then finding out what the hotel had in mind.
Hope this helps a bit.0 -
Thanks Pandapop, have received the letter now.0

Don't know about the others but I found the thread so busy it was really hard to keep up with it!
My success start finishes todaybut I reached level 2! I was hoping my last party would get me up to level 3 but it needed to be £310 and I knew that was pushing it, especially when I got there and it was a load of skint students. I sold exactly £27.50!!!!! that has to be my WORST party so far (even worse than the one with no guests where I just took orders from the host and her housemate!) Certainly didn't get me to level 3 anyway. I'm happy with level 2 and my make-up box.
