Hi Everyone,
We need some HELP!!!!!
Does anyone have any advise on working with pubs/hotels?
what would be the proposal to put to them?
any letter to send to pubs? etc etc etc
We have an appointment to see a hotel re. a fundraiser, but dont have a clue what to say once we get there?
Please help x x x0 -
Thanks, it does make sense. I will give it a go. The party is not until the 23rd of this month, will let you know how we go afterwards. Apparently it isn't a fundraiser, so I thought I might raffle (for free/children on the edge 50p for a strip of 3) the free shopping & yes gift as their is more than one organiser/host. I will ask my AM for some additional products and brushes, I am sure she won't mind. I am quite excited, it is a good test to see what the sales will be like with a large group. I have been ringing local charities and asking if they want Xmas/Pamper evenings, so this group party of 50 will at least give me an idea what kind of sum we could raise for them. :j
Thanks again.

Unfortunately, it is not going to be just a Body Shop party. The host will have several other people selling things on the night. Kristin who works with me is going to just take things to sell on the night. So, we will have to try your idea's out next chance we get. Will keep you posted.
Cheers

I used to do Body Shop at Home about 7 years ago. Worked at it for about 3 years, and loved it. I have just rejoined with the Christmas Kit. I don't really want to "Party" any more, but still have people coming up to me in town asking if I can get them products! So thought I would sell that way, plus do Christmas fayres etc. Great fourm girls. Wish it was around way back then. I am from the Lake District, and there are hardly any up here, so if anyone wants to join from that area, just give me a shout!
Looking forward to getting more hints and tips.
Does anyone know what is in the Christmas kit? Havent got it yet, but think it will land any day now!
Hi, Pinkhairdryer, did you mean you have joined as a Christmas seller with the £40 kit or have you joined as a full seller but just don't plan to do parties?
If you joined as a Christmas seller you will have recieved a different kit, the products that KeepingPositive listed our the ones in our Christmas Bolt-on not the ones in the christmas seller's kit which is more centred on gift sets.

No 3 for 2 anymore unfortunately. Ive gone for medium but now thinking large might have been better and only 25p more. Im expecting a delivery early this week so Ill let you know.
Thanks. Which do you select if you are just ordering supply items? Direct to Host or Direct To You? I need some supplies before my parties as I have nothing for prizes, making up host packs etc.
Thanks

Hey ragz,
to do just a supply order you'll need to select direct to host and then hit overview and select edit next to your name then on the drop down box slecet supply then i cant mind if its search that the button is or browse, just hit one and you'll get into the list.
Then when your done just process as normal, by hitting shipping details etc, it'll autimatically go to you since you havnt put a host in.

Cath-and-kim, I have emailed you the letter they give us on the website that's really for asking them to buy gifts for staff but it may be of some help, you may be able to use some bits of it.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
