Finally got on, I have been trying for over a week now and it kept saying my message was to short. Have loved reading everyones posts, tips and what has and has'nt worked. My name is Monique & I have been doing this for just over a year and love it despite many ups and downs. Nearly thrown it in twice. I am based in North Hampshire/East Surrey way and would love to have people join our little team.0 -
I have been asked to do a girl's night for 50 ladies. I am going to do it with a friend of mine. We started around the same time and help each other out, be it babysitting or doing fundraisers. I would like to involve all the ladies in some way at this girl's night. It is a Xmas makeover party. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.0

Hi Everyone,
I signed up on Tuesday, paid my money and completed all the forms etc..........but I still haven't heard about when my training will be or where?!?!
My only query is do the 6 parties in 3 weeks starts from the day you register or after you have had your training????? Cos the kit is being delivered to my AM and I get it when I do my training.......I obviously cant do any parties without a kit!! Sorry - am I ranting?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Anyhow - have joined the FB group.
Also - my name is Kate and I'm from Pembrokeshire, Wales!!!!!0 -
Well...i've just been out to collect my catalogues and I made precisely £0!! I did only put out 10 to start with...I have 6 back 4 of them had been left on the doorstep untouched so I didn't even get chance to talk to them!! I'm slightly disheartened at the moment but maybe i'll try a different area of town (i'm the only consultant here so plenty of ground to cover). If anyone does better or has a different approach please let me know...this town is tough!!
Try dropping off some catalogues and sample pots at your local leisure centre, brownies, Womens Institute and any other local clubs. Tell them you will be back in 48hrs to collect any orders. Offer the yes gift to whoever does it for you. If they get decent sales offer them the free shopping. I need to practise what I preach. If you have a go, so will I. You could leave some products, but make sure you make a list of things left.0 -

Hi
Don't panic, you actually have 6 weeks from the date you register to do your parties. However, we are told to tell our new recruits 6 in 3/4 weeks, to make sure the cost of the kit is covered and also less chance of parties being cancelled if they are booked in close together. Did you register less than 6 parties, that could be the reason your kit is being sent to your Area Manager. Just give your Manager a call & ask when the next training classes in your area are on. You will be fine, the products sell themselves. Just wing it to start with....;)0 -
I've just watched the training DVDs, learned a lot I didn't know about putting on make-up and I'm feeling a lot more confident about doing it. The make-up was the one thing I was really nervous about doing as I've only recently learned to do my own properly!
I watched the It's All About You DVD, I'm really looking forward to trying out the bubbly and confident approach! I've been really worried about how I will come across to my customers as I am actually quite shy but compensate for it by being loud and over the top! I thought the training video would be really pants but it has shown me that if I am passionate about the products and know what I am talking about I'll have real confidence. Getting really excited now and I can't wait to do my first party and practice everything I've just seen.
Wow, I just read my post and I sound like an advert, maybe I should be on a recruitment film! lol.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

A good way to open your party is with the new brand video (the new ad) as it really captures how we all feel about the products & the company & close it with Anita talking about recruiting, as it is a nice way to end the evening and the last thing they will remember is Anita talking about how fabulous it is to work for us. It is also a nice icebreaker when you are a little nervous to start as it tells the story for you. Blah Blah Blah listen to me bang on, should be working in their Marketing Dept.0

 spent £65 inc postage on supply last night. It should be enough to get me though a few months though. May need a few more incentives. Im looking at the baby range and want samples of that because my first party(s) are a kiddy centre. I have £7 on a gift card so I may venture into town to find something. Nothing other the samples on supply so got those to start with.:j0
