C&K, I have been told they are re-doing the cue cards and will be sending them out shortly. Which is helpful!
EllieP, I have opened as much as I can but with 2 inquisitive little monsters running around I can't really open it up until they are in bed! Which is annoying, but I will have a lot of fun later!

Does anyone know how I get the pretty labels with my name and number on? Do they not come with the kit?

ragz no you need to order them yourself. i think you can get address labels on vista print for free and just pay the postage. i got my business cards on vista print for free. I paid £3 postage (the option to have them delivered in 21 days) and they arrived after 5 days.

No need to spend a fortune!

  • Some great tips there, I feel reassured about going for the xmas bolt on now, my manager and another consultant had offered to lend me theirs but thought it best to have my own anyway.

Do you mind me asking you about your pamper evening, sounds like it was a positive experience?

What is your personal opinion of the natural minerals make-up, I havn't seen any of it yet, still awaiting my kit but I was quite excited about it. Do you deffinitely need the brush or is that BS sell, I havn't had any training yet either so would appreciate your views.

Thanks again for great information and sorry to bombard you with all my questions lol.

    Hi Fiona

I really enjoyed the pamper evening there is more information on how it came about earlier on the thread. When I arrived I scoped out the competition and there was only Virgin Vie to contend with but someone had the foresight to put us in different rooms! There were people giving full body massages, head massages and henna tattoos that kind of thing and in a separate room were stall holders like PartyLite and Usborne Books.

The great thing about offering the massages (I charged £5 for about 15mins massage) was that I had a captive audience to chat to about parties and recruits. When I spoke to the PartyLite lady she had had very little interest and no bookings.

Another great thing about it was the networking side of it. I chatted to lots of people and just got my name out there really which is all free advertising!

I agree with the other post about the minerals make up. It is essential to have the brushes too so it's not a gimmick to make people spend more. The brushes are much denser to pick up the really fine powder. I personally don't tend to wear minerals as I prefer higher coverage but I like the blusher and eyeshadows. Everyone's different of course and I always talk about the benefits of the minerals range but I still haven't managed to sell any of it yet!
