Sorry, just realised there were lots more posts, should have refreshed, glad you got it sorted.
I have my first proper customer! A lady I met through freecycle wants a party (I advertised wanting a guillotine and mentioned why - to do leaflets more my BSAH thing) and she mailed to say she'd like a party. It's quite a way away but I don't care! I'm so pleased to be getting a real booking rather than friends and family that I have coerced into having one for me!
Also had another Lady say she may know people who may want one and asked for more details so you never know.
I spent ages making and printing flyers, to be told on Netmums that letterbox dropping them has, according to BS, a 1 in 1000 success rate. I'm going to give it a go with a few hundred anyway, as it's nearly Christmas, may leave it a few weeks though.
Do any of you guys do flyers to put through letterboxes?June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Hi all,
Fundraisers seem to be quite popular so just wanted to ask a few questions in relation to this as I am in contct with alot of charities as my daughter has special needs and health problems. When you talk about a frundraiser do you mean just Bodyshop as the theme organised by yourself or your host, or get involved with pre arranged fundraisers where there is other things/entertainment and if so do you just contact people who you know are involved with charity work and try to get on board?
Oh and was wondering how the orders are delivered, is it through Royla Mail as I have a feeling my kit may turn up tomorrow or Thurs and I know I will be out so was wondering what usually happens in this case?

Hi Fiona,
dont know anything about find raisers as of yet.
But as for your kit turning up, They use UPS, and mine had a note on saying not to return it, so they would leave it at your neighbours house.
Also you could log in at body shop and track your deliveries too, so may be worth phoning UPS and asking them to deliver next door or leave in shed or whatever you want
