Hi
I think it is 'the back to work meeting' on the 9th of January. I will be going. They keep you motivated & up to date. Alyson was at our table at the last regional meeting, Monday.
I have to drive an hour myself, but have only ever missed one & I find when I don't attend meetings, I don't feel part of it and get a bit slack.
Just make sure you do follow up calls (courtesy calls) with your customers a week or 2 after the party, thank them for their order and offer them 10% discount for future re-orders. Let them know you will keep in touch via e-mail re-specials and contact them 3 months later to ask if need to re-order.
I have not always done this, but feel I have to if I want to keep my business going.

I can't always make the regional meetings as I work full time in London so it is a bit of a trek for me, but hopefully can do it next year once baby arrives, as long as I can get my hubby to look after baby for me0 -
Ladies, I am interested in this but as I have said before, I don't drive and I know people are often reluctant to have parties. Is it an option at all to use the 'party in a bag' method instead of the party at home way or would I need to do both?0

Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear on that, I mean would it be okay not to have house partires AT ALL and to JUST do the party in a bag method?0

It is great to read how you are all going. I have been really slack of late & reading your posts makes me more motivated. I need to pick up the phone.
What kind of responses have you ladies been getting when phoning previous hostesses? I have had 2 cancellations in the last couple of weeks. I am hoping things will get better. I am going along to watch the new 'taste of the Body Shop Training on Sunday'. Hopefully that will get me motivated.
Fiona, having your kit stolen is dreadful? Can you claim it on your Insurance perhaps?
Anyway, good luck everyone.
Gemma, our School have a fair on the 4th December & I can't do it. I am not sure if you are doing it already as I did tell them to offer it to another Consultant. Let me know if your interested.
Monny
Hi Monny,
I'm based near you I believe, I live in Whitehill. Just did a fete today and it was a total waste of my morning off work! Got no leads, two small orders and am completely thinking about giving it up. Two of my parties cancelled so currently have no bookings, none of my previous hosts are interested as one is moving and the others just don't want to, one became a consultant (not through me though)! I've been doing this since May and I'm struggling constantly to get any bookings. I don't have an endless lists of friends or previous hosts so I'm all dried up. How long have you been partying for?
Thanks
GemmaWill be debt free by December 2016. Total debt £6207.35 . £188 per month on a DMP with Payplan.

Hi Gemma, I'm in Whitehill too! Would you like to meet up with Monique and me one day? It's always nice to meet other consultants and get new ideas and maybe motivated again. Just pm one of us and we can arrange it!0
