  • My Name is Amy-Louise. I was asked to join the company today. I am very interested, but i am only 16 so traveling will be a slight problem. I think i would do very well at the job, seeing as i go to a college with 10.000 people in it. Was just wondering if you ladies thought that 16 is a little young. thank you x

Hi ladies, I joined last week and have my first 4 parties booked, two of which I am hosting myself. Need some party and sales tips girls....Any help would be great! x

I have Pm'd you a website. I suggest you read through some of the old posts on this forum as well. As, I am sure you will pick up some tips.

If I could go back to my first parties, one thing I would focus more on, is re-booking parties. Bring up parties more then once, tell them what they will get for hosting a party & show them. Your kit is valued at approx £155. On average this time of year they can get £125 worth of products for just £30. Do up a hostess only Catalogue, with the 70% off already worked out and stick the new prices next to the real prices and let everyone see what they could get. Pass it round.

After you have got the hang of the 'taste of the Body Shop Parties'. You could offer a pamper evening. Get the ladies to bring a bowl, to soak their feet, exfoliate and use your Body Butters, put on a relaxation CD. Suggest a Xmas theme, play a Xmas game & use the seasonal products, play Xmas music. Host a Chocolate theme, with your Cocoa range & have Choccies as prizes, do the left right game. (Have them throwing choccies, left and right)

The £64 pound party game is great to hand to your hostess in advance to raise sales & the left right game is always popular at parties. Use Bath Lilys or some samples tied up with ribbon as prizes.

You can have lots of fun with the kit you have got. :j

    Good luck.

    Hey all,

Haven't had a party in a while, but i have one coming up next week, which i hope will be a big success with all the xmas goodies....

I have general party games, but i was wondering whether any one had some good xmas themed ones??

I personally know everyone who's attending so it doesn't matter if the games are a little mad!

Thanks for your help in advance! :)
