Hi everyone
looking for advice
have just joined and my 1st party is on Fri with my sister, I haven't been able to observe a party yet and my training was cancelled so am getting a bit nervous.
Have got the pamper kit and was thinking of doing a hand massage like on the website - will I just use the almond hand stuff or do I need massage oil?
can I put a supply order thru with the party order?
how long does it usually take for an order to arrive?
does anyone have any party games/ ice breakers or any other tips advice for a good party - I don't want to let my sister down as she has gone to a lot of effort.
thanks in advance
X

Hi Everyone! I am looking to take round letters to houses in my local area to let them know I am a new consultant and what I can offer them. Has anyone else done this and do you get much sucess from it? Also does anyone have a template letter or could give me some advice on what I should include?
Thanks xx0 -
I have just joined up with the BSAH and have my first training evening this coming Tuesday. I also have my first 3 parties booked but am struggling with the 4th.
Anyone got any ideas?
Also, can someone let me have a template for a leaflet or letter to drop off to neighbours as one of the parties is my own.
Has anyone got any ideas for games, raffles, hostess prize etc etc.0 -

Hi,
I personally did this to the area where I live. Me and my friend delivered 360 leaflets and it was hot! It was back earlier in the summer and got no response what so ever! My next door neighbour placed an order but another friend said it can take 3 goes before people really take notice!
I was also told by a neighbour that we get AVON so why would we need The Body Shop! I actually get Avon and I was surprised how alike to The Body Shop they are even offering similar promotions. They aren't cheaper either its just people have known them longer!
Give it a go, maybe you'll catch a few leaving or entering their house and grab their attention. Put a view posters up in your local area, that might help. Its a tough business at the moment! Good Luck

Hi Gemma,
Thanks for your help. I think I'm going to give it a go because its really slow going at the moment and I just need a little something to get me going. Do you have any good ideas on getting started, I'm really struggling! So far I've taken catalogues round to hairdressers and put Christmas preview catalogues through a few doors in my area. I just feel like I'm maybe missing something!

Hi,
Just wondered if any one knows the minimum number of parties you're expected to do once you've done your initial 4 in 4 weeks? I thought I had read before that you were supposed to maintain a minimum quarter value but have now read elsewhere that you have to maintain the one party a week. I'd find this hard to keep up - can someone help?!
Thanks0 -

Wow! Hello everyone, I've not been on here since June!! But getting back into the swing of things for xmas
To answer your question Pebbles, you don't have a minimum number of parties after your initial committment, there is just the Rolling Quarterly Value (RQV) which has to be at least £150 across the last three months (obviously doesn't count much until you do a few months) So you could do a single £150 party once every three months if you wanted to, I practically did this over the summer to keep me going!
If you want to be eligible for special offers or reduced kit or these cheap kit things (they're new to me!) then you have to either have so many parties per month or hit a sales target for the month.
Hope that helpsNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

i have been told that i have to remain active on a weekly basis- and not maintain the £150 RQV (only allowed in special cases). If it is my business and i'm self employed why am i being dictated to0

Finally got my first party booked for next Thursday! Yay! Really really nervous as it's a make up party and haven't done any training yet. My manager is coming to show me a simple look on Tuesday so I'm hoping everything goes ok and I don't make the host look like a clown!0

No, I have been with Body Shop for over 2 years and I have taken advantage of the (RQV £150) as I have not always partied every month. I am not partying this month as I have family staying with me from Australia. But as I partied last month and have over £150RQV, I am not worried.
The rules are the same for all Consultants. Of course, your Manager would like you to party every week as it keeps you active and you are less likely to quit. However, you should not feel pressured by anyone as it is your business.0
