Hello Ladies,
If I wanted to do some marketing in my local store how do I go about it? Do I book a morning in advance? I live about 16 miles away from so am thinking about planning ahead.
As I have been told its quite an effective way of getting some hosts.
Thanks

Hi Gemma!
Just give your store a call, and introduce yourself. Ask if they would mind you popping into store for a day, or 11am-3pm (usually the busiest time) to conduct some prize draws/feedback surveys. They are usually more than happy to have the extra hands! Just ask which day is a good one to go in. For me, a market day or Saturday has a bigger footfall of customers, so you want to pick a busy day rather than a quiet one!
I have a good relationship with my 2 local stores, and they are always really welcomming and helpful. Going into store is really easy and lots of fun. Plus its a great way to learn loads more about the products and sample things you dont have in your kit!
Make sure you go prepared, so as to make the most of it.
I usually take some prize draw forms - they are quick and easy esp for people in a rush! They just fill out their name, address, contact number and theres 3 tick boxes - one for hosting a party, one for becoming a consultant and one for hosting a fundraiser. If they tick any of the following, then you can give them a call the next day!
A store survey is also a good way of getting the customer involved, offer a free sample (which the store usually has loads of theyre happy to give to you) for every completed survey which will entice them....this survey has a question about being interested in hosting a party and earning potential too.
I think both are available to download on be inspired, or ask your manager to send you them....failing that, i also have them to email out.
Make sure you wear a logo tshirt or sash to promote yourself, and if you can take a load of flyers with your name and details on to hand out too that is also good publicity.
If you find noone wants to stop whilst theyre shopping, try standing at the queue or till point and just say 'whilst your waiting, would you mind filling out a quick questionnaire and il pop a free sample into your shopping?' It always works....they have no escape then! hehe!
If you know any other consultants, its great to go in pairs for extra support - one of you could offer hand massages whilst the other fills out prize draws etc - it attracts more people then too!
Hope this helps!
Let us know how you get on!

Hi i have been lurking around this thread for a while now, and have decided i would like to give it a go, but i have a few questions first:
1. Is there a joining fee?
2. How many parties do you have to have as a base? Or is it as and when you want?
3. How often do you have to have parties?
4. Does someone 'watch over' you?
5. How do i join?

Hi
1. You have to pay for your kit which is £95 sometimes there are offers on where you get a few extra products. Im not sure if there is one for this month.
2. You have to have 6 parties booked within 6 weeks before you can get your kit.
3.After your 1st 6 parties you can have parties when you like as long as you do £150 each quarter.
4. Your manager normally likes to speak with you once a week to check how you are doing & get your weekly figures.
5. To join you can call the Care Centre on 0800 0929090 or look on the first page of this thread and find a consultant in your area.
Where abouts are you?
you earn 25% of your party sales (but just to warn you, you do have to pay a delivery charge for each order you place)
Hope that has helped, if you need any more info you can always pm me0 -
Hi girls!
I did my 1st party! It managed to go okay i got just over £150 in sales! Got my 2nd party tonight and im still nervous as hell! When does it all come natrually to you? lol!
Just a few questions?
If they pay by cash or card how do you get the money you have earnt in commision?
As we get 25% of products does that also mean in store? If so how do i go about this?
And ordering online i cant seem to get my head around! Any tips?
Finally! Do you have any more tips to help me with my parties?
Thanks
