I am starting to worry now, i know i will be fine once i can get a few people booked but i only spoke to my manager on thursday and i have to find 6 contacts for parties by sunday night. I am really worried i wont manage it, and therefore cant do any parties.
I have been given dates between 8th dec - 16th jan. just seems like quite short notice to get anything planned and now im getting stressed, which wasnt the point at all, i know!!0 -
Alexa don't get stressed! Are these your first ever 6 parties? I booked all six of mine in one Sunday afternoon! Don't forget one of them can be for youself and then you get all the free and half price shopping, so that's only 5 left. My six were me, my mum, my cousin, and three for friends.
I texted all my closest friends saying something like 'I'm starting as a body shop at home consultant and I need to have 6 parties before the end of November, do you fancy helping me out? You get free and half price shopping depending on how much your guests spend, plus a goodie bag from me to say a big thank you!'
Try this approach, I was overwhelmed really by how many of my friends jumped to help me out. If I were you I'd say you need to have them before xmas, that way people don't put it off till the new year, and you get some sales and experience at peak time before the January sale, and anyone who says they are too busy before xmas, suggest January.
One friend I had booked hers in but then postponed it, she took a while getting back to me with a date, so i texted her saying I had a deadline from my manager so if she booked her party in by the end of the day I would give her a free bottle of wine as well as her goodie bag (wine/chocs/whatever suits that person). She got straight back to me!
Hope this helps, L xNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

thanks very much for that, I shall try calling my friends tomorrow, i have had a few friends saying they would do one, but hten its just getting dates from them all.
I understand i dont get the kit until i have booked these 6 parties, when you say you offered free goodie bags to people who booked parties, what did you make these out of?
Thanks so much for the support, i appreciate it. My mum said she would have one, and my brother is getting some of his female friends to posssibly hold one, ive also got a friend who lives in wales who i am going to viisit during xmas, so i suppose i shall get there.
People who say they made their own leaflets etc. can you use body shop logo and this isnt copyright or anything?? thanks

You present them with the goodie bag on the night of the party in front of the guests, so for the later dates, you will have been able to order some incentives on your first party order.
I was lucky with my goodie bags, my mum works in a school and is bombarded with smellies every end of term, I raided her supply and there were a few body shop sets which I broke down into bits. I put things like a votive candle, bath bombs, nail files, bath lily, which are not necessarily body shop but are unbranded (I wouldn't put all this in one - I'm stingy!). So if you have unwanted gifts knocking about, raid them for partsAsda were doing mini bottles of wine 4 for £5, so I put one of those in, one mini body shop product and one unbranded item. You can also use chocolate in them. For my party games I have been using a mixture of samples and choc coins wrapped in tissue paper. The girl who signed me up also gave me 3 mini products, which I have since used in goodie bags. Don't go spending a fortune on stuff tho, I only use things we have spare in the house, and then bits from the business tools, you don't want to eat into your profit too much.
If you try to have your party and your mum's first, you don't need a goodie bag for yourself, and your mum will let you off!
I would also say, if you get on a roll with your bookings, don't stop at 6! I got to six and went phew! and sat back for a while, but then got to my fifth party and realised I hadn't got any new bookings! Might as well keep going while you've got the taste for it. Good lukc with your bookings! Leanne xNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Hi Guys,
I'm just putting through an order and there is an item in my kit build for free which says trolley bag - I've no idea what it is any ideas? If its free I'm having it (!) but would be good to know what it is. I got a tote bag with my start up kit, is this the trolley-dolly style kit case shown in the recruitment flyers maybe? ta, L xNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Morning Girls,
Well I did my first party last night and got £250 orders so thats a good start I think. Got another party on Monday so have to think about what I could do better. Last night was my sisters friends and it all kind of ran away with me though managed to do a party game, raffle and 2 possible party leads so quite pleased.
Does anyone know if the PWP will be extended past sunday? Nothing on site yet and want to know if I should still plug it for Mondays party

as far as I'm aware the PWP will continue with bath oil at £30 spend until the end of Dec but I'm not sure where I got that information from. I hope I didn't just make it up in my head!0
