I still don't remember all the prices but so far nobody has shown any hint of minding when I say 'hmm, I'll just look that up for you, there are so many prices to remember!'

My tip would be to familiarise yourself with the catalogue. Know what order the pages come in. are the body butters and body collections before or after the baby page? where is the peppermint foot stuff in relation to the hair stuff? etc etc. If you can manage to learn page numbers then even better but roughly what order it all comes in will really help.
  • Thanks elliep I have will sit and swot up, just have this evening as I work tomorrow and Tuesday and a school meeting tomorrow evening, busy time of year. But I dont mind I love it all really, fancy dress made for children in need up till early hours on Thurs night. A road accident meant that I couldnt do it before, but hey my daughter won so well worth it. Now school fundraising for xmas and starting TBSAH, working Mon-Thurs, andrunningahome, wewomen certainly multi task dont we!!!!

I did 3 parties before my 'official training'. My AM was great & showed me a rough guide & gave me great notes to help me get thru. I had hosted a party so that helped to I guess!

What makes you think your a whimp & can't do this? Don't go on your first party.. make sure you give it a fair crack at the whip before throwing in the towel... its SO worth it but you are learning all the time its not a job you can just start doing it does take time.xx

moonflower, seriously hun i had an awful start! My first party i had a grand audience of 2 or 3 and sales of £97 (but my mum in law wanted to order something too which is why it was as high as that). Thankfully things have improved and my confidence is growing too. Like ditzee said, it takes time. Ive been doing this since the end of July and i truly love it but its something that does need working at. I envy people like my AM who are so natural at this job because im so not lol!

Keep at it, things will get easier and it will improve.

I agree that confidence comes with the more parties you do my initial nerves are still always there for the first 5 minutes or so but now once I am in the swing of things it just comes to me. I have found the DVD and the links to the conference which have some ideas for parties to be a great help in thinking about my party format etc.
