You can send them a query via online banking (Contact Us), although I tried once and had not received any reply.
Why can't you phone them or send a letter?0 -

in an email, i can explain myself better and is quicker than a letter. It also gives the bank staff more time to research my questions and i then have written evidence of their reply should things go pear shaped in the future.0

I've tried to send them a query via the on line banking site - but got a reply stating I could only email re problems with the site, and any other queries need to be done over the phone. As I've telephoned regarding the same issue - failure to honour the recommend a friend promotion - SIX times to no avail I'm rapidly losing patience............0

You got the same problem? I recommend three ppl, and it seem got paid for one, but that one person got no payment, other person don't know but I didn't get paid, and third person they got paid but I didn;'t get paid.. Wonder how wide spread this is.0

I've phoned again today and been told that the complaints department don't take calls and that I should write in. When I explained that I am still waiting for an acknowledgement to my last letter I've been promised that a manager will call me within two hours. That was an hour and a half ago, so we'll see. I'm going to write to the managing director if the call doesn't come!0

Surprise, Surprise! Another person who has yet to receive the elusive Manager's Call Back.
I have been chasing them for two months now as I haven't had any interest on my Premier Plus account since I opened it nearly 14 months ago. I have called them about 6 or 7 times now.
Anyone got the name of their MD?
Oh, another point, you can't use the phone number for calling from outside the UK now if you are in the UK either. I got som epleb in Leeds telling me I had to use the 0845 number printed on my correspondence! Gits!0 -
I gave up with Alliance and Leicester, I wanted to do a simple thing like change my address, the branch wouldn't do it, I sent everything off to the head office to get changed loads of times and they didn't come back to me at all. Eventually I changed it in branch and closed by accounts at the same time. I also noticed on my savings statements they didn't quote contact numbers!0
