Has anyone had any experience of SIS paying out?
All I want is laptop insurance up to £1000 (I live at home with my parents and just need laptop theft/accidental damage insurance for when I take it into uni)
The SIS site doesn't look very professional, which may or may not be an indication of what they are like.
Endsleigh is too expensive, they quoted me £126 for a year for a £1000 laptop when I went into their student union branch. And even thought they were the most expensive, they also had a 10% excess.... meaning £100 for any claim for that laptop... which is just rediculous.
The Saxon one looks quite promising, their site has quoted me £68 including the laptop as an optional extra. The £25 excess is reasonable. (unless it's different for laptops?)
Does anyone have any experiences with Saxon, and/or links to online (Which, etc..) articles about them?
Thanks in advance

Looked at this topic just as I was about to renew my contents insurance with Endsleigh. I chose them because they have a shop (right word for an insurance service?!) on our campus. But they really are expensive aren't they?
I've just gone with SIS, because they were significantly cheaper. Admitedly the site doesn't seem very professional, which is usually a bad sign, but we will have to wait and see. Would be interested to hear anyones experiences with them?
