e2save redemption, possible 45 day delay.
Posted a claim for 6 months line rental on two mobiles to e2save on 21/10/2005, documents arrived with e2save on 24/10/2005 (special delivery). I've just checked their website for contact info to double check that the documents arrived safely, I found this:
">
STOP PRESS
Due to a technical issue, there is a short delay on the delivery of the cashback cheques to customers. Cheques will be delivered to you within 45 days and not 28 as stated. We apologise for this delay and hope to have normal service resuming shortly. We thank you for your patience.

45 days? Neil Armstrong got to the moon and back quicker than that.
Technical problem? I hope that's not beancounter-speak for a cashflow problem.

Funny thing is that I have just received 2 text messages stating that my cheque would be dispatched in,
35 days
14 days.
Left hand and right hand comes to mind.0 -
Hmmm - and we all hoped that E2save 'good practice' would pass to osps following the takeover but it looks like things have moved in the opposite direction.
It looked suspicious when it was osps - now e2save are doing the same thing it looks doubly suspicious - hopefully it is just a question of cpw group keepig its bank balances topped up rather than anything more sinisterI think....0 -
I recently got told upto 45 days for cashback, but it arrived in a month anyway no problems.0

Allow about 14 days after they process your claim for a text message (so they informed me).0 -
Is there any way to find out how profitable a company is and how likely it is to go bankrupt?
I'm hoping that my carphonewarehouse cashback will be with me soon!0 -

So did I!
Last week I got 28 days.
On Monday they said 35 days.
And yesterday I got 14 days.0 -

I have just sent a query through to e2save as I sent my cashback voucher and bill in and it shows as received on the RM website 16 days ago and I haven't had any acknowledgement.
I've also been waiting for a call back from e2save for over a week about ordering a new phone and haven't heard from them about that either.
