    A quick catch up.

Went out to do the shopping and it was red hot. Then I noticed big black clouds. All of a sudden the heavens opened and we had a big thunderstorm. Considering Im frightened of thunder and lightening I did quite well. All mums fault cos she used to make us sit in the cupboard under the stairs. She also used to cover the mirrors and cutlery.

Mudbath Re posties. My sister in law in Aberdeen sent mums birthday card last Wednesday. She put it in a brown envelope together with a letter for me. It hasnt arrived yet. They are away on holiday now. If it hasnt arrived by Monday I will go to the post office here.

Kazwookie Big big hugs. Sorry to hear of your loss.

I open 2 quote boxes in separate windows and cut and paste into one.

If you click the 'stay logged in' box it won't log you out after a few minutes.. mine is never logged out

I wondered how you did the 2 boxes as well, and whereis the stay loggin in box, Ive never seen it :p

Feel sooo much better for 2 hours sleep and some proper food (ok well chocolate spread on toasted rolls :D ). Think I might actually put the shopping away now.

First big hugs to kazwookie, what a lovely thing to do the flowers yourself, it will mean so much more.

Triker - like your way of thinking, cool decision

Mudbath - I would say something about the post, I'd ring up and say that it was left without a signature and is there a training issue that needs sorting. It makes a mockery of the whole system if special delivery stuff is left. What if it hadnt been something replaceable.

Right I am going to do something ................................................maybe

    Crisis over? Stardrops found?

Yes :j Discovered lurking in DS bedroom.

Well I have had a lovely little snoozette this afternoon and my batteries have been recharged a little. I did do HHI before my snoozette though.

DH has stopped watching the TV and has now gone to the 'office' to back some 3 legged horses. (he really has no idea that it's the four legged variety that do the job)

Think I'll have a little potter around for the next hour or so at a nice sedate pace and see what can be achieved.

    Afternoon ladies

Kazwookie hugs for you hun on the loss of your Mum

Busy day but not really any flying. I've done a mystery shop; been to the bank; picked up a few bits in town and been to the Wedding cermemony of DS3's teacher. She looked beautiful and it was so lovely to invite the children along. It did make me feel old seeing all her friends just starting out on married life, some with young babies some holding hands, where have all those years gone?

Soappie hope you had a fun day catching up

I need to see if the paddling pool has finished emptying and put our bed sheets in the washing machine.

1 Do the b****y bank account
2 [STRIKE]Clean my bedroom (then the WHOLE house will have been cleaned this week. WOW:D)[/STRIKE]
3 [STRIKE]Sort out the videos I not longer want, bag, along with other stuff identified this week and drop off at charity shop.[/STRIKE]
4 [STRIKE]Label, and store homemade Rhubarb Jam (and remember a jar is for a friend and 1 for ma and pa. [/STRIKE]
    5 [STRIKE]Peg out washing (wipe line first)[/STRIKE]

and I've brought the washing in; made the kids beds, put yesterdays ironing away, collected my newly sharpened lawn edging shears from the ironmongers, popped to my mum's and delivered the jam. House looks immaculate. Put away pots. Chicken carcass boiling for stock as I speak; will make homemade soup shortly, and do the little bit of ironing generated by todays wash - sheets, tea towels, pillowcases and dusters, I like ironing, me!

so :T thank you all for the inspiration and motivation.
