I have an 18month old asleep in a travel cot in my room and has been since 8pmish :D But 2 7-year-old (going on 90!) girls in a high sleeper with a lamp on and the stereo on with a Disney Princess CD on. The two girls have caused more trouble bickering than the stropping (due to tiredness) toddler! I have a headache, and have been asked to have the kids until 2pmish so I think a walk to the park and to feed the ducks (Oh boy do I hope there will be some there!) will be called for if the rain stays off. If they carry on after I've gone to bed I'm going to bang their heads together and make one of them sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag instead! Seperately they're fine, being able to run around and play out they're fine, put them in 1 room together for more than an hour and they start bickering - you'd think they were more closely related! Actually, a woman stopped us on the way home today and said what beautiful hair the two "sisters" had :rotfl: Trouble is DD has dark brown hair and our cousins have almost platinum blonde hair so how they could be sisters I don't know :rotfl::rotfl:

30minutes later : Correction - they're now in separated after the 2nd trip up to them:rolleyes:

Right, I'm going to bed. I give in. :o

    :hello:

I hope all is well in flylady land.

I have been flying honest. I have been so busy its frightening. As for flying now its slightly on a back burner now for the hols just doing my dailies and 1 extra job nothing else. Its the kids time to have fun not mummy nagging like and !le fish wife at them.

A bit of an update, I have handed my notice in a work. Oh is contracting away for a further 6 months. An offer that simply could not be refused. So for the first time in 10 years i am going to be a stay at home mummy.

My house is actually surviving the holidays quite well all thanks to joining the flylady thread and following it upto the holidays.
I am also going to change my name to bob the builder, i helped fit new drainage with my father. I am getting a dab hand at diy i am also seriously thinking of doing a plastering course. £300 for 10 week intensive course. Then away you go and practice. It cost me more than that to have my staircase palstered, and my fathers new extension will need doing. Will see. I have also decided i will not waste my time at home i am defiantely going to study. Not sure what? i have always said nursing but the hours they do and 4 kids just don't go well together. But i have a passion for human biology and anything medical so may go down a microbiology route not sure what options are out there but that will be my little project this year, finding what path i want to take.

Right goodnight all and i hope i get chance to visit the site within the next week and not month, take care

    Byeeeee

Just back from A&E  DD3's shingles are worse. She's ok with it, bless her little 'ADHD run round the hospital like a crazy thing' cotton socks!!!! :rotfl:

The doctor said...oh, at least 6 times..."it is going to get worse" Great, yeah, thanks for that Doc!!! It's on 2 branches of nerves now, one across her neck and up onto her jaw, and now the new band is forming across her cheek. It's in her ear and behind her ear.... joy!!!!

DD1's having a sleepover tonight, not exactly ideal, 'Oh sorry girls, grandma's coming to babysit, we've got to pop up to the hospital."

DD2 then kicked off because "it's not fair, she's (DD3) going to hospital with you, and she's (DD1) got her friend here, and I'm just lying in bed bored" Bloomin kids

Someone, please remind me, why did I have em??? Ah, y'know I'm only kidding, love 'em really, wouldn't be without 'em...... not for too long anyway!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Flippin knackered now, bet the cheeky minx (DD3) will stilll be up raring to go at 6am!!!

Slept well. It's still grey and overcast this morning and, blissfully cooler. just about to jump in the bath (even if it does cost me 96p!) and do the work thing.

    Have a good day ladies.

Sarah- sounds really painful. children can be so brave.

Chunky79-= or should I call you bob. Sounds like you have been busy. Would love to do some sort of course but can't decide what.

Valli -it makes perfect sense to freecycle - one less thing to dust :D

Well It's Friday :D:D:D. It rained sooo much last night and didn't sleep to well as keeping an ear out for DD in her new bed.

I have had a brainwave re the list. Think I will do ALL of the weekend list AND none of the week list. What do you think?

Have to go to Mr T today to get a present for a party that DS is going to tomorrow.

Pigpen do I really have to vacuum and turn my mattress every week? Last week was the first time I'd ever done it!
