Thanks for all the hugs. I feel so much better for putting the grievance in and needless to say I got a reply straightaway

Pigpen - Happy birthday to your mum. Same day as Harry Potter ;) How is her woofie dog getting on?

Dusty - sorry, no knowledge of turbolister. I think pigpen and AnW'sMum have spoken about it before though. Is AnW'sMum on holiday?

I think quite a few of you said the other week that you had problematic MILs. Well, I thought I'd share that my exMIL popped up today with a bunch of flowers and a birthday card (My birthday isnt til Monday, but hey ho) Wasnt that nice?

Bath time for me I think. I'll take my sudoku book in with me :D

    Night all xx

    PS Where's tootifrooti today?

Oh. Weekend list (for last weekend anyway) not too daunting.

Mind you if I do this ** thing flings everytime I'll soon have nowt!

Haven't selected my 'extras' anyway. What I need is someone to tell me it's ok to throw/give to charity shops all those old videos I have had for years which I never watch and which are filling up a cupboard. It's the old emotional attachment/but they cost me a lot of money thing.

    So Flyladies - pur-leeease help!

Right, I have swished and swiped. I have deep cleaned. I have gossiped on the phone to my best friend down the road. I have hung washing on the line and just this last few minutes hauled it back in again rather quickly because it's raining Big Time. First Big Time rain for a while. So at least I don't need to feel guilty about forgetting to water the garden for a couple of days and maybe I'll sleep really well tonight.

Mind you - one does wonder if it's the presence of ex1 in the area that has caused the weather to break ... but no - I won't go there :rotfl:

Night night ladies - sleep tight - I'm off to find some lemon juice to take the smell of salmon off my hands (that's what we had for dinner tonight).

Evening, sorry, not being very sociable lately am I :o ? Well busy day but not a great one, did manage to get a lot of my own list crossed off, inc taking the car full of stuff up to the caravan, both boys hair cut etc. Mam been here all day as DP was working on her car so she's got on my nerves an ickle bit, she texts more than a flipping teenager, she nearly walked into a lamppost and walked straight past a shop she was going to because she was texting. Sound more like the mother than the daughter don't I?

Anyway, busy evening, made a batch cook of chilli and bolognese for freezer (make ideal 1st night meals for me and DP) touched my face after chopping chillis and felt like I was burning, then smashed a glass across the kitchen, while cleaning that up I put the dogs in the garden and the dog found another flaming hedgehog so I had to get him to drop it and take it over the field. Oh it's been a busy night.

I've just been trying to do some uni work, but it's going badly, I've been back in touch with them today about getting the software sent out as I can't do any computer work due to the disc not working, they're trying to send one 'urgently' because they could see I'd requested one on the 21st and it hasn't been sent.

List a mile long to do tomorrow including help a friend with her awning on the caravan she's just bought, see if we can suss it out, no instructions. Have booked myself into the hairdressers tomorrow as my treat for me, just a quick cut but time for me, in between doing my headless chicken routine.

Hope you are all ok, will try to catch up a bit later.......take some catching up with you lot!
One day I might be more organised...........

Well SSL if you needed proof you are a nice person that's it - cos IMHO ex MILs (2 since you ask) tend to support their 'blue eyed boys' - no matter what they did.

    That's lovely.

What, by the way, have they said re the grievance (or is it merely an acknowledgement that you've filed one?);)

    Hi

Migrane has now gone probably due to Ds2 having a massive tantrum:rolleyes: i think he scared it away. I told him he had to be quiet because Mummy had a poorly head and he said go hospital nice lady make it better:D

i haven't achieved anything off my list today and the house is a tip but i dont care i'll do it tomorrow.

Big hugs to Sarahshattered and your DD, hows she feeling with it?

Also hugs to SSL on not getting the job they must be mad or stupid or both.

Good luck for the weekend Soappie;)

Well done Tia your very brave venturing into the kids rooms from hell. When Ds1 was younger i had to do a mass clear out every now and then because it would get into such a state. I make him do it himself now.

Good luck TAG thats one heck of a list.
