I really am too hot now. Wall to wall blue sky here and getting hotter and hotter. I'm glad I decided not to go into the office- I would have cooked there (we have no air con)

Right - what have I achieved?

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
[STRIKE] Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE] I don't have any stairs (all ground floor). The living room rug and throws have AGAIN been Dysoned to within an inch of of their lives the dog is still shedding big time even though I'm brushing her twice a day. Any suggestions anyone?
    Level 2
[STRIKE] Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE] Easy - no stairs!
[STRIKE] Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure![/STRIKE] Don't have a mantlepiece :D
    Level 3
    [STRIKE] Wipe and water plants[/STRIKE]
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it.. Am concentrating on the hotspot that's the filing pile in my bedroom. I have paperwork spread all over the kitchen. Judging by the dates on the papers, I have not done this for about 3 months!
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Sort out school bags and lunch boxes and other school related stuff for the new year.. including coats and shoes.. what needs replacing??
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    4. [STRIKE]Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it[/STRIKE] Cushion covers and throws from living room were done last week so I've taken the throw from the little settee in the kitchen and put that through the washing machine. It's now on the line drying
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Slight change of plan for me - Going to take DD up to Tesco & Ethel Austins to look at the school uniforms in there and I've said she can spend SOME of her pocket money on something like a comic but I have to agree to it ;)

Wow gunsandbanjos you've done a lot of your list already! :T

Welcome Valli - I've been away from flying for a while, and only joined in again on Thursday when I broke up from school (teacher), and already I've found myself addicted to refreshing the thread. :o

Is anyone up for a 1/2 hour challenge? 10.30-11? I feel the need for some more motivation.

    sexymouse xx

Same here - so you will know that it's nigh on impossible to 'do' flylady stuff when we're working!
Mind you I have mucho planning etc to do as well - so I need to be motivated and not let the time drift a...w...a...y

Thanks for the welcome - appreciate it! What's a half hour challenge?

A half hour challenge is where we all try to do as much of our list in half an hour as possible, and we all post after to say how much we've done. It is really good for motivating usually.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
