Jackie, I have used Mr.Muscle for my oven and it worked well, but did have a smell to it I thought (great for teh hob though!) Now I use good old stardrops/vinegar/water mixture, and it does still smell. What I do after I clean it is shove in a pyrex dish of boiling water and put it on low for a wee while to burn the stink off. Then when it cools you can give it another wipe out. Works for me.

Kids room is starting look better, the end is in sight! :j Toys are being sorted out into boxes and stashed in the newly emptied cupboard that has shelves and a lock! So far we have, tools, action men/figures, DS2 babyish toys, wooden toys/physio toys, dress up box, guns/violent toys and the bag of sports toys. Then we have the 4 drawer plastic storage thingy with animals/beasties, power ranger stuff (DS2 loves his pows), cars and DVD's/Xbox games/CD's.

One box will be left out and they can choose some toys each to put in it, then the cupboard is locked till they want to swap some toys over. They have far too much stuff and most of it gets forgotten about, and all of it gets scattered around the house and broken.

Lets see how long this lasts....

OK, back to it....hmmm kids might want fed first, I keep forgetting I have no appetite recently, force toast down in the morning then force some dinner later on. Not losing weight right enough which is pants.

    Hello and welcome!!

I use ovenmate for my oven it doesn't stink and works really well... well.. I have a bottle of it and it didn't smell when I used it once..
pigpen where do you buy it from, the oven here is disgusting (in fact most of the house is I dont think the previous owners were very keen on housework:eek: ) I have tried stardrops and vinegar but its not shifted all the filth:mad: so game to dry other methods to get it clean OH has suggested getting someone in but i object topaying someone to clean the oven when i am sure i could manage myself
