    sob, sob. RANT ON

My house was immaculate yesterday and I mean immaculate. I spent from 6.30am till 1.00pm flying. So that's 6 and a half hours. Did the whole place top to bottom. I sweated buckets and according to the scales I lost a good pound or two:T .

Fast forward to now.......... it looks like the hurricane season has started early. As I mentioned earlier DH has succeeded in spending the entire day in bed with a hangover. I have been to work, shopped for inner tubes, food, carpet and underlay. Fed everyone including Little Bruv, ( who's still here ready and willing to help [STRIKE]the drunken slob[/STRIKE] DH do bits round the house.) Tidied the kitchen 3 times and it needs doing yet again. Changed bedding the list is endless.
And all I have achieved with my efforts is the 'hovel look'

I know things are bad as I've resorted to a bag of jam doughnuts. So I am on flying strike till Thursday when DH goes back to work, I have 4 days off and normal order should be resumed. RANT OFF

Thank you for listening ladies and goodnight!!

    HI SSL
I am so sorry I didnt mean to offend you - me and my big feet (well only 4's actually) - I was jusy trying in my own stupid way to give you some encouragement. I am sorry to hear that you have been off work so long - have been off with depression in the past too and it didnt stop me getting a new job when I went back to work- in fact I think I used it in interviews to say how I had come through the experience and was a stronger person blah blah blah ....
I will keep everything crossed for you until you hear.
    TF xx

TF - please dont think for one minute you offended me. It was lovely to get the good wishes from you. I'm just trying to be realistic :D So no offence taken as nothing to be offended at :D

Thanks for the get well messages, feeling rather guilty as it's totally self inflicted apart from the cold on top, but yes Crafty, I drink maybe 2-4 times a year and it takes that, plus more and I wasn't that drunk :o It's quite mad really.

    TAG ((hugs))
SSL hope you hear soon as I think my fingers might drop off for being crossed for so long for you :D

Trying to decide what to do about next weeks break, given up on housework after doing BBQ etc this evening (the smell of the food put me off eating it :o ) it needs to be local ish as we're staying somewhere Fri-Sunday up here, I've found a nice place (which has a pool for the boys!) for £23 per night which is good, then going down to Harrogate on the Sunday until the Thursday, considering taking the plunge and going from each one to the other, just need to work out if we have enough clothes etc to do it, the Friday it's me and the kids alone (and the woofers) because DP is driving back for work, so I could set up stuff for him to bring to save weight, oh decisions......suppose we were going to go away for a fortnight abroad, so we could, oh I wish I was braver...
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Oh TAG - I think I'd have started issuing some slaps! Look on the bright side, look at what you have accomplished. Now make them suffer *evil laugh*

Today went very wrong. Worst off I have caught the sun major style on the back of my neck :o I'll try again tomorrow. Off to bed now, via a large drink and putting a washload on the maiden.

    Evening!

More welcomes and hope you enjoy it here for Tete en l'air, Slinky and Diane239

SSL is your manager allowed to say that to you - I think I'd be kicking up a big stink on the basis that how can you have had a fair interview when opinions are already biaised etc etc

Different corner - Love your signature trouble is THAT IS MY 9YR OLD DAUGHTER!!!!!

Tag - not a good day then!

Bit like mine, rushed into town with DD so she could go to the inflatable session at the pool. Parked on the car park and rushed in with her. Came out and thought I'll nip and do a bit of shopping rather than go home. Found some lovely bargains, 2 prs nice flip flops, fab pair of shoes and pair of combats, and headed back to the car. On way back I remembered I hadnt bought a ticket and even tho I'd only been 3/4 hr I had a parking fine  . I know my stupid fault I just blind forgot. This is when it got sillier. As I read the back of it the fine was £50, now I remembered years ago you could get off by saying you had a ticket and it had fallen off the screen if you took one in that was valid when the ticket was issued. With me so far. So then I spots a couple going back to their camper van and buying another ticket so I asked them if I could buy their old one from them :o (for a tenner  ) mental I know like OH said - you should have just asked for it. Trouble is I'm now too scared to actually use the darn thing, so in total it will have cost me £60 and another day in town to go and pay it   Please will someone knock some sense into me as I seem to have lost the plot.

Still didnt manage any flying after I got home as after tea got the big bed down from the attic for DS and discovered its a 4'6" not a 5" so all the £80 quids worth of new bedding doesnt fit  . We moved his room round 3 times trying to get the furniture looking right and ended up with it exactly as it was before except with the bigger bed

So first day back in and playing catch up already
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
