    Hi All,

I am declaring August at £222.16 so only £2.16 over although this will take us into the 1st 4 days of Sept too. We are away the 1st week of Sept so there will be a saving there and I have done Mr. T online shop for when we come back. That totalled at £60ish but until it comes I can't say for sure.

Didn't do big shop after all as too tired after a day walking miles in Manchester while visiting DS. Did a little shop today to tide us over, so am declaring August total at £119.62 - a massive £40.38 under budget! (mainly due to spending a week at my Mum's, and she hardly let me spend a thing).

I'm declaring £434.42 for August - a whopping £84.42 over budget  Really must try harder next month!!! Have done an inventory of the freezers and there's quite a bit of stuff in there, so now need to work out a meal plan for September to use it all up, then hopefully I can come in under budget for a change in September :o

    Hello,

Declaring £192 for August :o , not proud but came back from hol on friday 28th & just couldnt make it til monday without shopping so had to do a £35.00 shop.

I'm going to bow out of the challenge for September as I'm trying out some new budgeting techniques but thanks to everyone for all the inspiration, trying this challenge has certainly made me think about how I shop & what I spend.

Good luck to everyone for September
