Just come on to update sig. Spent £15.05 on fruit, veg, baked beans, milk and juice in Mr A. This time I wrote a list and priced it. Still came in at £3 over but I hadn't put fruit on the list and also realised I needed baked beans. Saw lots of things I wanted but didn't buy - can you all see my halo, it's starting to outdo the Beijing opening ceremony!! Have about £27 left out of budget to last 11 days and I think I may get away without dipping into it. I did buy a couple of food storers to cope with all the stuff I'm starting to cook and freeze - Smart Price because I think their lids are more secure than their more expensive ones.
Will have to go into town Friday to collect some photos for DGD2. Will pop into wholefood shop but only to look at prices so I can compare with Mr A for next month.
OT - Very cross with myself though because I forgot to renew library books and had to pay a £2.56 fine. So stupid because I can easily renew on line - just forgot. This time I've done a calendar reminder on my mobile.
Have started to stock up on things for winter - saw some really thick warm tights in Mr A for £3. Could probably get them cheaper elsewhere but these looked really cosy. Will check in town to see if I can do better, but all the sales are still on.

Hi hun, [strike]we[/strike] I do an average of three loads a week. (2 adults). Sometimes get annoyed at OH for hanging worn once clothing over the end of the bed rather than hanging up in wardrobe- but at least he has finally learned not to put non-smelly, non-stained clothes straight into basket:T . I think kids and men often put clothes in the basket because its easier than working a coat hanger- far too technical:rotfl: :rotfl: . A friend of mine (mother of three teenagers) uses the sniff test with her boys clothes. If it's not stinky or stained she hangs it back in the wardrobe- so far they've not noticed. Quote, "Wow, Mum you washed that quick":rotfl: :rotfl:
Do you know what - I think you've cracked it! The bf puts things in the basket to 'store' until the next day quite a lot rather than just folding them into the drawers. He got well upset once because I washed everything in the basket and apparently his jeans were 'just resting there' and he needed them for going out lol... seems I'm supposed to read minds now too! He puts on a VERY cute face though so I can't quite get annoyed at him though I get close when it comes to picking through all his smelly socks for things that might just be 'resting' amongst them. Mark my words one of these days he'll be trained.
Tesco order coming tonight so will have to update the sig <sigh> I think we're over budget already!

MrsM, your canneloni yesterday inspired me to make the same thing today but with lasagne......mmmmmmmmmmm.
So just wanted to say t h a n k y o u
My back is playing up, completely seized on me earlier so feeling a bit un-inspired here and will look to you all for some yummy cake/lunch recipes. DS also fussing again, and seems to be living on bread, raisins, cheese, milk and sweetcorn. Not too worried about dairy or carbs but cannot get him to eat much protein (altho' he ate a small slice of roast beef yesterday and a couple of small bits of chicken tonight).

Evening all,
A NSD for me today, though this week has been a bit disorganised... spent 5.04 yesterday on lunch and 'dinner' (choc and OJ) and I'm not sure what I'm having for lunch tomorrow. Grrrr.
Oh well. I got some brownie points yesterday for not buying dinner, even if it was really late and we were really hungry. We came home instead, defrosted some curry and cooked up some rice and veg. Yum.March 2020 grocery challenge $921.76/$500AU
