Im feeding 7 everyday at the mo but sometimes as many as 9.

Karen, I used to have a walk in pantry at the old house which was 4ft by 8ft, housed both the larder fridge and 5ft freezer, and had floor to ceiling shelving so you can imagine what it looked like.
I live a 25 mile round trip from nearest proper supermarket although do have a PO/spar in the next village 3 miles away and a Co-op approx 6 miles away; so I work on the idea that I shop from my own stores rather than the shop every week.My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
So we’re empty nesters.
Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).

Morning
Am just about to update my signature which has seen a big jump as have stocked up on stuff for our party saturday. Think by the end of this week will probably go over but may then remove the drink and that will look a bit better!0 -
Well I am moving house at the end of the month for a few months in a teeny tiny room so have to consolidate today. I have been eating out of the freezer (not easy without a microwave!) but have been eating pretty well, scones, canneloni, malt loaf, it's like a little display of all that is unhealthyGod is good, all the time

Mmmmm, used the 12p jelly diamonds that I accidentally bought two tubs of while away!
Hoping for a NSD today as topped up yesterday with bits and bobs and a nice meat joint for tea today.
Hugs to all who need them and hopefully I will get a chance to read all posts later.

PS Any of you who use the Tesco concentrated washing liquid, it is £1.63 (at least the non-bio and colour versions are) just now instead of £2.69. I know its not cheap compared to some washing methods but its great for DS's stained clothes! hth someone.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Congrautlations, ioiwe!!! What a weight off your mind - and mega best wishes for the wedding - it's SO close now!
Hugs to Kaat lady re Archie & also to other poster (sorry -lost name) re Annie xx
Have updated sig - hmm...... We are in London for 4 days/ 3 nights next week. I will do a packed lunch for first day, as we will probably get there lunch time at the earliest (mobilising our 3 kids always takes ages on a morn!) and what we usually do if the weather is nice is pop into a supermarket and buy a picnic lunch (make own rather than packs of sarnies) - so if we do that (fingers crossed for weather!) I'll include that spending in GC. Dinners are inc in the holiday budget! Good deal on the hotel - travelodge (I think) for £29 one night & £19 for each of the other 2 nights. And we've paid for breakfast in advance online (cheaper) - but only for us as the kids eat free
Have just finished an online Waitrose order to be delivered on Sat 30th - but am panning this to be in Sept figures, as it's all stuff to be used then - just being ordered beforehand to make use of the £15 saving:T Have totally offer shopped excluding 1 bottle of milk and a cucumber, so am hoping the total should be somewhat less than the indicated value of £40.55Am also hoping to come back to a stash of peppers, toms, courgettes and chillies - all of which are coming along splendidly atm. carrots will also be ready (they are atm, but pulling on an as-needed basis). Now to do a tesco order too - thanks for the low value code eager learner!
On the subject of tesco, got my clubcard vouchers this morning (£59) - but all the extra coupons in there are rubbish - not one which I'll use - which I'm peeved at :-(
Ah well, off to make dough for pizza tonight to use up some bits from fridge! Grotty weather today too :-(

I am making the fish pie that was posted on here somewhere. My query is that I would like to use cornflour instead of regular flour to make the white sauce (so its wheat free) Can I do this and do I use the same amount? Yep - corn flour is better than plain for white/cheese sauce

wow this thread is growing fast!!
Not sure if it's been mentioned and also not sure if it's everywhere (I'm in Suffolk) but Rainbow has some good deals. Got a lot this morning of their less than half price offers and also used my £4 off £20 coupon which came through the door. Some of the items from their leaflet:
5kg potatoes 84p
1.2kg carrots 54p
4 pints milk 72p
Richmond thick sausages 89p
bananas (7 small) 65p
Heinz Beanz 25p
Heinz spag in tom sauce 25p
free range eggs (6 med) 66p
and quite a few other things - oh the 39p cauli I got is lovely - big, creamy looking and very fresh. They seem to have a good stock of the items and I was impressed. I usually find Rainbow a bit over-priced so was delighted to see these offers. Hope this helps someone.
Haven't done a menu plan yet as still feeling a bit yucky so not really thinking about food.
Good luck everyone - nearly into the 20s and then the end of the month will be in sight!

Wow jelly diamonds they take me backYour cupcakes look so perfect and uniform! Mine always come out a bit random-y.
I just started using the Tesco liquid last month and I really like it. Though I think it was £1.63 when I got it last month too, though I've slept since then, several times in fact! I did a little spreadsheet (yes I am that sad) with washing powder, solid tabs, liquitabs and liquid and liquid came out cheapest per wash everytime. Though I guess there are other ways of doing washing that are more Old-Style...:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
