    What about, simply, "Cartref"?

no !!!!!!!!!! ............ i know 3 nursing homes called that, the windmill idea is perfect !! Hen Melin Wynt.

it needs to be something related to the ground it has been built on, new builds in my parents village are normally named after the brook or the stream or the actual name of the field etc.

seen a couple of houses called "cartref" when I lived in england, but the nursing home connotation puts you off then I will get my thinking cap on!

Remember you are gonna have to spell your address our to every courier, utility company, jobcentre etc for life!

Rhandir Mwyn - Fair wilderness (fair as in pretty?) assuming that its in the middle of nowhere :-)

    Clydfan (clyd-fan - cosy place?)

Bryn Melin (mill hill - ok sounds daft in english!)

I like a name with meaning to it, my grandfathers house (which he built) was called "Benraw" meaning red hill (in irish gaelic I assume as my grandmother was from ireland) as the soil is redish. but was changed by the new owners to "swn-yr-awel" - sound of the breeze? in welsh.

My other grandfathers house was called Penucharllan (top end of "llan"(the lace) but was chancged to "dunroamin!!" oh I hate that name!

'hen' causes a soft mutation so it should be hen felin not hen melin
