gorgeous in a salad...just break as Mrs Chip suggests and add them into any type of salad....I personally like them mixed in with leaves, avocado (I like to warm my avocado, but then I am odd!!), flageolet beans and vegan bacon....splash of balsamic vinegar dressing, side of roasted tomatoes and imho..food for the gods..:DMortgage 12.12.12 £55842 12.12.13 £42716 14.12.14 £28837 13.12.15 £25913

I have never understood the fuss everyone seems to make about deseeding a pomegranate! All this faff with pins or bashing them with spoons, battering them into a mush and wasting half of the delicious seeds, seems ludicrous to me!
All I (and anyone else I know) has ever done is use a knife to cut off the top and bottom, score the outside into four sections and then use knife to remove the hard centre on the top. The rest is pulled apart into four sections and the seeds removed with my fingers - separate the yellow membrane and pith from seeds and discard. Once that is done, wash hands (stains otherwise) and eat the delicious seeds. Nom nom nom!
Can't people bear touching them or is there something I don't know about pomegranates?

Frozen pomegranate seeds are amazing! I eat them with granola and yoghurt, or with ice-cream etc ... they are frozen but still chewy and they keep for upto a year!0
