Are you holidaying in the UK to save money?

We do both: the luxury holiday abroad, plus several weekends camping each year. I like aspects of both, and by combing the two we manage to have lots of holidays each year...so far we've had a 2 weeks in Egypt, a week camping in Cornwall and several weekends away - and its not even august yet!. Whilst I love the 5* hotels, there is also something really fun about getting back to basics and camping. Our tent is large and spacious, our beds are very comfortable and the fact that on Friday lunchtime you can decide that you're going away for the weekend is absolutely fab.

No, I don't have an affiliation with the site, and in fact it is run on the same lines as MSE - not-for-profit, free to use and no adverts - just good exchange of independent info - (but I DO know the brother-in-law's daughter, which I don't think counts!).

Anyway, the site is still in its infancy but its whole purpose is that people can RECOMMEND UK accommodation, places to visit, things to do etc. to others. Worthy of support I think.
