home made sandwiches

I own a Newsagents, I have a sandwich company that supplies me. Can I make my own at home and sell them?

    I would have thought you would need a Hygiene Certificate at the very least. Your Council should be able to advise you further.

    i guess you would need packaging aswel. just wrapped in cling film might make them look *ew*

    Most definatly, I can use proper home made fillings rather than those cheap ones.

    Also, what about home cooked food?

    i think you actually do this, shops round my end sell pancake rolls, home made sarnies and cornish pasties. id just do it personally

    Please ignore this advice! There are hygeine regulations in place for a reason. Take the first poster's advice.

    i think you would need the prepartion area checked by the correct department and they need labelling correctly and dating

    or yes, they want to see the table you use check the temperature of your fridge etc etc

    if you have fridge in your shop you should know how important certain areas are when selling food a shop SHOULD check the fridge temperature 3 times a day
