  • Alpha Car Storage at Luton are no more!

I booked online 4th April for parking at Luton at the end of August and their website took my booking (although a little security window came up as I went to book which I sadly ignored). I got an automatic email confirmation but didn't hear back from them.

I tried emailing them with no success, then I tried phoning them but it was unobtainable. Checked with my card company and no money has been taken (yet?), then with directory inquiries who gave me the number for Central Car Storage which appears to be at the same address (22 Kimpton Rd). I thought they may trade under two names so I called the number and a polite Scottish lady told me that they're different companies and Alpha had to close down a couple of weeks ago because they were operating without a licence.

Shame because even though it appeared a bit tatty the service was superb (after years of AirParks torture!).

Sorry if this is old news here but I tried the search and paging through this thread a bit but couldn't see anything and I've just wasted an hour doing this.

if you're flying from manchester i have a reccomendation for you
    http://www.miasecure.com/Default.aspx
mia parking in manchester, 4 minutes from the airport, minibus shuttle on demand and cheap as well.
my parents have used them before and say they are excellent, did a price comparison and they came out cheapest, according to my mum the buses are clean and they aren't the really big coaches 'where the cases roll around'
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)

Good Deal for Egg Card Holders

Just used the BCP link for Egg Card Holders and got a cracking deal, if you'll excuse the pun, for 3 weeks at Manchester Ringway Airpark for under £55.

  • Hi guys,

I havent had a chance to read through all the posts so dont know if someone has posted this site. The best one I have found is https://www.airparks.co.uk

I used this last year and it cost about £25 for a week (at stansted). Im using it as we are flying from Gatwick for 4 days and its gonna cost about £20. I would definately recommend these guys. They park your car for you and they do a shuttle service to the airport which runs every ten mins. It only takes a few mins to get to the airport too.

    Hope this helps someone.

Thank you just got 16 days gatwick for £45 end June begin July.:j

You do not need to use an egg card to pay for it.

Worked fine with my Natwest mastercard.
Next cheapest I had found was around the £60 mark so very pleased.

    Thank you again
